“Beautiful facility! I can't speak to the hotel side but we were there for a VT information session on the conference room side. We were provided with a nice snack bar for our session. Facility was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays.”
“We had a great time at the fairgrounds! The rodeo was a big hit, and the petting zoo was perfect for the kids. Lots of fun activities and a great atmosphere overall. A few small areas could be better organized, but we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!”

“Excellent location for visiting VA Tech. Room and bathroom were clean and quiet. The bedding and shower supplies were also very nice. My husband and I found the beds too hard but my college students were comfortable, so maybe old bones were the issue. The breakfast was very nice with hot and cold options, fruit, and pastries.”

“I had my wedding here May 2026, and we loved it!! I have grown up around this area & been to the Barn for other events too! Love that the wedding barn is covered, so you still have that outside feel, without the worry of the weather! I come from a farming family, so I was happy to have the surrounding real working farm- cows, sheep & beautiful fields! Thanks you guys!!”
