Yes, it was busy, and I almost told another customer off because he was getting irate about waiting, but let me tell you it was 100% worth the wait! The Double Trouble Chocolate Waffle was just DELICIOUS! I don’t think I’ve ever had something so delicious for breakfast in my life! If I ever find myself in Richmond again, I will be coming back here!!!

An absolute winner in my book. A little place that serves fresh breakfast. The Beaut biscuit sandwich is ?. The avocado on it melted in my mouth and chased up with the perfect amount of hot sauce. The orange chocolate waffle is mint. Has the perfect amount of orange zest in it. You honestly can't go wrong here for breakfast.

This was a great breakfast place close to our hotel. We stopped here intentionally to get breakfast sandwiches on the way to Brown's Island and the Canal Walk. We got two Beauts, a blueberry yogurt, and a house orange juice (with a real orange juice press just like on our honeymoon in Spain). The food was excellent and the people couldn't have been nicer, even though they were VERY busy! The only reason atmosphere didn't get a 5 is because we were never able to get a table. They were so busy. This is by no means a complaint, just a cautionary note to go early or pack your patience.

This was my first time going to this place so I wasn’t expecting it to be small but my problem was I saw one of the cooks blowing the waffle pan with his mouth from the looks of it. I’m sure he had done this multiple times. That’s a big no no ..my beef Sausage was not hot. It was room temperature and all I wanted was for it to be placed back on the stove again and when I went to return it. I’m not sure if this lady is, the owner or not she older looking but when I asked for it to be reheated, she rolled her eyes and huffed as if it was a problem that I wanted it reheated. if you asked me that is not good customer service. And it just left a bad impression on me so I will never return back here . If it wasn’t for my friend, I was going to curse her out but I kept it cute. Just won’t be returning.

I rarely give bad reviews but.....I got a sausage biscuit to go. Gross sausage links on a hard biscuit. Who does that? Should have been sausage patties. And it was beef sausage at that....yuck. and you can't advertise biscuits in your name if the biscuit is horrible. Dry, hard

7 January 2023 - Good breakfast sandwiches and waffles. The sausage on the sandwich is actually a big link they split in half, which is unique and tasty.FYI...Apparently a lot of places downtown are credit/debit card only. Seems to be the trend.

Food was pretty good but they told us "no" three times first thing in the morning. They don't take cash, they don't have ice, they don't have mustard. Not sure how they can survive without taking cash but luckily I was with someone who had a credit card handy.

By far the best breakfast place in Richmond. That is if you are seeking gluten-free! You cannot go wrong with anything from their scones to their Coffee. I wake up craving this place!

I wanted to like this place. biscuits are very dry and just taste gross. the “sausage” was literally just a hot dog. i went in starving and i took a bite and it killed my appetite lol. not even mad just genuinely disappointed i wasted $18 on this. oh and they dont accept cash either?. hopefully the owners take this as constructive criticism and make better food because i hate to leave a bad review.

The person with pink? hair running the front of the house wasn't professional (Nov 18). She seemed to be extremely anxious and it kind of radiated over the entire place and the vibe wasn't great. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out but our waffle was sitting for 15 minutes getting cold while our biscuits were being made. People who ordered behind us were served before us, all around it wasn't a great experience. Lastly, there was a gentleman who looked like he didn't speak great English and the person working the front of the house mentioned above just wrote him off and didn't help, he was waiting for 30+ minutes for what I assumed was a pick up order and asked for help 3 times and she ignored him.Oh and there was a piece of the rubber brush they use for the waffles in my waffle (picture below)

On our vacation from Tennessee, we stopped in here the day after Thanksgiving and we were so happy to experience an Amazing gluten free breakfast!! The biscuits were done extremely well -good crumb, soft and delicate, but hold up well being used for a sandwich. They taste great as well as a biscuit by themselves! The waffle has great flavor along with their maple syrup which has a nice consistency and flavor as well. The bacon was cooked very, very well -not too crisp or too chewy! Always nice to have fresh squeezed orange juice! My daughter’s grilled cheese sandwich was also super good -the herbs in the bread paired with the cheese and made for a rememberable grilled cheese experience. The bread on the sandwich is like a focaccia. It is delicate and soft as well, but also holds up with no issues for a sandwich. The scones are also amazing for gluten free - we had the raspberry and white choc, then we were given a couple of other flavors on our way out. Gluten free scones can be significantly hard to make gluten free -this establishment makes them extremely well. They have the crisp outer side, soft inner, and hold up when dunking in coffee, and again the incredible flavor is also there! The drip coffee is also great! Great place to have breakfast - but you don’t have to be gluten free to love eating here! My daughter and I both have celiac, so there’s a need for us. Thanks 521 for giving us a great breakfast away from home! The individuals working here are professional and friendly!

Really enjoyed the Soulecito breakfast. Nice fluffy waffle, scrambled eggs and 2 thick pieces of bacon. Orange juice was fresh squeeze and nice quality coffee. I arrived about 20 minutes before the shop opened at 8am. I was the 5th person in line and within a few minutes the line extended quite a way behind me. When it opened, we walked in an orderly manner to the counter to place our orders. Meanwhile, the folks who we deep in the line came in behind us and put down purses and backpacks and manged to reserve all of the seating space before the first person could even pick up their order. By the time I was done ordering there was no place for me to sit. I think the staff needs to be aware of this and manage people reserving seats to avoid confrontations between customers (which did occur).
