They need to have better customer service and better communication. My questions wasn’t answered, they just handed me a key and said that’s the car and he turn and left?? I had to get out of car and ask questions like where is the booster seat? Do I put gas upon returning the vehicle. The guy wasn’t nice At all

I met Bo at the airport check in window. He was awesome. He is a prime example of awesome customer service. He made the whole process smooth. I always rent with Alamo and it’s always worth it. Keep up the great work Bo.

They were out of the vehicle I had reserved. My granddaughter loves it when I come to town because I always rent a Tahoe, but since they were out, Marsha and Isaac put me in a Yukon Denali. I will definitely rent here again. A very positive experience.

Reserved a sports car 3 months in advance for a weekend to take a quick trip....when I got there was told they had no sports car and that I was upgraded to a genesis but the manager MEL made everything easy and let me know booking through a 3rd party is not the best way to book a rental! They don't know inventory real-time! I gave them a bad review unfairly because of the sports car issue but they made the best of my situation! Mel should get a raise for her customer service expertise!

The Alamo rental car experience was perfect! The Alamo employees at both pickup and drop off were super friendly. The Toyota Highlander I rented is a fantastic ride. I thought the value Alamo provided was great.

Easy to reserve. On 3 Nov, the counter help was friendly and professional, the attendant in the garage was full of smiles, professional and helpful. Changing from Budget to Alamo was a great choice.

Rented an F150. Vehicle was clean, drove well. Counter person was ... Ok. Person in garage was great. Very friendly. Drop off was fast and painless. Very reasonable rate for such a large vehicle.

Unacceptable. I called the reservation line to book a car rental. The person was very friendly and helpful. I received a confirmation email and number. However, when I arrived at Richmond Airport, I was told that it doesn't matter that I had a reservation. They have zero cars. I was not the only person. Several others, all with confirmation numbers, were told they do not have any cars either. How is this possible?! I had to go counter to counter to find another rental company that actually had cars. This is completely unacceptable....Update: 3 days later... no further communication. I sent them all my contact info, as requested. I guess this response was to make it look like they were trying to correct the extreme inconvenience to me and others. But nothing is being done. Way to treat your customers and your military families. Never again!

The check in was excellent. Reps were very courteous. However, when I returned the car the rep was courteous but failed to check the car for left items or ask for the key. I left a small bag on the back seat and went to the terminal with the keys in my pocket. Needless to say, 15 mins later I realized this and had to walk back to the rental garage area and wait for my bag to be retrieved from another location and still no one ever asked for the keys or noticed they weren’t in the car. The Rep I returned the car to definitely needs to be more diligent about checking for items left in the vehicle and the location of the keys.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The staff is HORRIBLE ( rental pickup and return agents) The return agent tried to cheat me and have me pay for gas although the vehicle was returned on full! Then had the nerve to go back and forth with me about it.

Cars are always clean and new. Customer service is outstanding. As an example, my wife left her wallet in the car when returning, and didn't realize it until we were back in the airport. We went back to the Alamo counter, and they quickly drove out to the lot and came back with her wallet! Saved the day for sure!

Although a few mistakes were made by both parties, they were corrected and I was placed in a safe vehicle I requested.Receiving and returning the vehicle was the easiest I ever had anywhere!

I was told that it would be a good idea to purchase a toll pass when I rented through Alamo only to be charged for tolls after the car was returned. When I called Alamo the guy said that he could see where I purchased the toll pass and that I would need to contact HTA. I contacted HTA and was told when I purchased the toll pass that was only for the service charge not the actual toll fees. This should've been explained in the beginning. For all of that I wouldn't have wasted money purchasing the toll pass!
