I bought a 2006 BMW, OWNER ran a diagnostic test on the car three times failed to inform me the transmission was going bad, about to blow a head gasket and a list of 10 other very serious problems I didn't know about until the BMW dealer ran the same diagnostic test the Owner ran plus BMW advices me of the transmission codes that had been cleared while I had the car. (By Owner in my presence)
