Went to withdraw 4 hundred dollar bills from my account to bay a bill at another bank. When I gave the bills to the other bank they told me that one of the bills was counterfeit. So they took the bill and told me they would start an investigation. Be careful about withdrawing large bills from this or any bank.

Maria is the best! I came in for an appointment to update my account profile, and Maria was extremely warm, helpful, and fun to work with. She also introduced me a lot of benefits that my account has access to but I previously did not know of. Would definitely recommend working with her!

Came in to do a wire transfer and signed two documents. On my way home, the lady who assisted me call me and informed me that there is another document that need to be signed. Had to made a second trip to the bank the next day. For some unknown reason, the wire transfer did not go through. The bank does not have an answer and the $6 prepaid fee for receiving end was not refunded.

Continuing horrible service. In June I tried to deposit a check from my IRA. They credited it to my account, then reversed the credit a few days later, saying they noticed the form of the check was not valid.In December I needed to have a form certified with a medallion signature. The manager on duty said that could only be done by the manager, who was on vacation. I could give them the document and get it back after they had the signature verified at another branch - could take a week and cost $30 or so. I took it to Va. Credit Union and they provided the medallion signature immediately at no charge.In January I wanted to get a signature notarized. The Bank of America website said I should fill out an appointment request on line. The form to schedule an appointment has the following message every day for the next two weeks: "Please choose a different day. We're sorry, but there are no appointments available."

Fast and excellent service.I arrived at about 12:05 and the parking lot was full.I was debating on whether to go to another location but decided to go on in and just wait in line.I couldn't believe how fast the line was moving.The teller's name was Beth and was super friendly and helpful.By 12:20 my check was cashed and I was back on the road.

The man who speaks Spanish is not helpful for people who speak Spanish that pity eh even two gentlemen who speak English are very nice ask the one who shop because they speak Spanish and he is not helpful that pity

On a Friday evening when I could be doing many other things, I feel compelled to submit a review of what might be the most positive customer service experience I have ever had. As soon as the Short Pump branch opened this morning, I called in an attempt to help my elderly mother-in-law with what I suspected was a scam in an attempt to access her bank accounts. The gentleman I spoke with was kind, reassuring and quite knowledgeable. He recommended we set up an appointment so he could devote his full attention to my mother-in-law’s needs. When entering the branch at 1:00, Mr. Khanh Allen, the respresentative I spoke to on the phone initially, was prompt in receiving my mother-in-law and me. My mother-in-law is 83. She is hearing impaired, very upset that her savings could have been hacked, and not one to be patient. Mr. Allen handled her situation so respectfully, it truly struck me that he was treating my mother-in-law like he would his own family. He listened intently and was exceptionally patient with my 83 year old MIL. Although it took two hours—an amount of time I was prepared for but my mother-in-law didn’t expect—Mr. Khanh Allen was able to resolve our concerns. I wish my review could relay how much I appreciated what Mr. Allen did. If everyone was treated with such professionalism, patience and genuine care, our world would be a much better place. Thank you!
