Belmont Recreation Center is a restored home and country club formally known as Hermitage Country Club. It offers a formal atmosphere and an ideal facility to rent for various size gatherings, celebrations, meetings or retreats. Nestled within a beautiful golf course run by First Tee, Belmont welcomes the community with a variety of programs and events for both children and adults throughout the year. The community can partake in many social clubs, regularly scheduled drop‑in programs or some fun entertainment in the Community Game Room. The venue has some of the nicest clay courts in Richmond, impressive public tennis courts, and tons of arcade games, a Nintendo Switch and a twelve foot wide projecting screen that are free. Staff are friendly and guests often come again for game night with friends and family.
Some of the nicest clay courts in Richmond. Only a handful of private clubs in the area have equally or better maintained clay courts than Belmont - very impressive for public tennis courts.
