H&R Block hires the most incompetent people to do your taxes. And the worst part is it's either this or face the IRS on your own in the event of an audit! If you choose to use HR Block, ensure you understand how to file taxes on your own and SUPERVISE their work. I've been screwed over by these people two years in a row. TWO YEARS for them to do their job and still, they manage to fail at it. I think the A level players in the tax game go and work for CPAs or open their own businesses doing taxes. The B and C level players get hired by HR Block.

I was charged nearly $500 to do my taxes this year because I itemized my deductions ( 3) and Block should tell you ahead of time. I wont be back.
