I had multiple good conversations with the owner about steering repairs prior to dropping off the vehicle. I stopped in to check on the status of the repair on the second week that they had my vehicle, 9 business days. It had not been worked on at all. When I expressed my concerns about the delay, I got an apathetic response. When I asked when it would be worked on, zero commitment , he wouldn’t even say the following (3rd) week! I took exception with the indifference and lackadaisical response…. I got an earful from the counter guy, telling me he wouldn’t be talked to like that - ha! I had good reason to voice my concerns. I asked for my keys and he tried throwing me out of the office. I want to support a local business but the counter guy was awful and spoiled the relationship.

I don’t often give negative reviews but these guys deserve it.
My 73 year old mother came in for an inspection on her 2011 Altima. Said she needed new front break pads, rotors, and the headlights renewed (for $750). Thankfully my mom checked with me and I offered to do the repair. Her pads had 1/2” left on them, were evenly worn, and her rotors were 1.000” in width with no lip. Manufactures guidelines are to replace at .940”. New rotors are 1.04”. I polished the headlights myself for $35.
They were trying to take advantage of her and make a quick buck. Not cool at all. She took it to a reputable repair shop and lo and behold nothing wrong with the brakes.
Mechanics name was Scott and some other younger guy. Owner should talk to them in my opinion.

In April 2025, I took my car here for a state inspection. The inspector claimed that the following things were broken: 1) serpentine belt, 2) left and right rear wheel bearings, 3) rear brake shoes, and 4) rear brakes not making contact. When I told the inspector that I had had new rear brake shoes put on the car 2-3 weeks earlier, he let that drop and wouldn't write it on the receipt, and he told me that I had no rear brakes, and I told him I most certainly did. I asked the state police to review the so-called inspection, and they made the garage put a valid inspection sticker on my car. Another garage to never do business with again!

Only place I get my fuel. Friendly staff, quality fuel, quality prices. Not to mention, top of the line tools/equipment in the service center. Knowledgeable, efficient, skilled technicians.

I'm editing my review to be fair. I recommend seeking a second opinion at this business since each time I've gone to this place, it's always $1,200 or more for brakes or other issues. After the expensive estimate, I went to another business, and my brakes cost $240. That was not the first time.

Came for state inspection and needed a new tire. They were able to order and put on same day. I have always found them to be quick, honest and very helpful. They go out of their way to make sure customer is taken care of. I always make appts for service and they are very prompt.

8 am appt., and Noone was here. Got a SUV oil change with a 25% off coupon. My total was almost $67! Called around and currently this is a Great Deal for full synthetic! This place has been here for half a century, and still going strong!

A state inspection was the only reason for my stop at Bon Air Shell however the quality of the visit led me to want to leave a review. Bobby, Keith, and Chris were very friendly and helpful. The inspection was completed very quickly but I managed to spend about half an hour with these guys just chatting, I definitely recommend!
