2 employees helped me during my visit to the Broad Rock Branch Library today. Both greeted me with Big Smiles and a warm Hello. The first (gentleman) helped me make copies and was very patient with me. The second (lady) made sure that I had everything that I needed and explained the new checkout of books procedure to me. I always get great customer service anytime I utilize this branch.

This is the WORST library on Southside. There's a racist employee who had kicked us out and tried to blame it on overcrowding when there was barely anyone there. She also said we were loud when we weren't. I know there are not as many racist encounters as back then but there was certainly one now. (We are people of color, btw) There was this lovely black security guard who gave us a better library who may welcome us. Do not come here!

The staff there at broad rock library is superb, vey knowledgeable, easy to talk to. Excellent in being very helpful. They always encourage you and helpful when needed. They're always greeting you when you come through the doors. Outstanding and they all deserve raises.?????

I went to the broad rock library to make a copy but I forgot my change purse the librarians were so kind and offered to let me make a copy using funds left by others even though it was only 15¢ I was so grateful for their kindness... I did find 14¢ in my car I went back in and gave it to them sooo moved by this act of kindness
