The owners were so nice and helpful when we went in. My husband and I are new to caning and repair and they helped us find what we needed and gave us some pointers about how to fix up our shelf. I'm thankful little shops like this exist so that we could see the product instead of ordering online! We will definitely be back!!

This place looks like a little hole-in-the-wall shop but don't be deceived by its modest appearance. I needed a minor repair to an old wooden dining chair and found this place via Google. I watched the video they have on their website and it looked they knew their stuff. They specialize in caning (new & repairing/restoring) but also work on wooden furniture. Steve, one of the owners, said it wouldn't take much to fix but would be subject to his minimum charge of $75. I'm a business owner myself so this was perfectly understandable to me and I told him to proceed. He completed the repair a day ahead of schedule and when I came to pick it up, he said he was only charging me $50 because it hadn't taken him that long and he didn't feel right charging me the full amount. The repair looked great AND he'd taken the time to redo an earlier repair on a different part of the chair that I'd done myself a few years earlier. We hadn't discussed that at all but he said he noticed it and thought he could easily make it look better with little effort so he just did it. (The mediocre job I'd done myself on the older repair was why I sought professional help for the current repair!) Wow; that's good customer service!

Always do great work and are very nice. I have had four chairs done here. All were at least 85 years old, they now look like new!
