I had an incredibly frustrating experience picking up my medication at CVS recently. The pharmacist's behavior was utterly disappointing. Initially, he completely ignored me, even though I was standing right there. As the line grew longer, he displayed zero empathy for the situation. Another customer tried to encourage him to assist others, but he seemed determined to maintain his rude attitude and ignore everyone else. It was incredibly unprofessional and left a negative impression on me.The pharmacist barely spoke to me, giving off an air of complete indifference. To top it off, midway through the transaction, he abruptly walked away from the register, leaving me standing there bewildered and frustrated. It was an astonishing display of unprofessionalism and utter disregard for customer service.

When it comes to convenient pharmaceutical services, CVS Pharmacy has consistently been my go-to destination. From prescription fills to over-the-counter medications and a range of health and wellness products, CVS delivers a dependable experience that meets my health needs.One of the best qualities of CVS Pharmacy is its widespread presence. With numerous locations scattered throughout the country, luckily we have a great store nearby. Beneficial in times of urgency or when you need immediate assistance. The extended store hours, including weekends and holidays are great when filling my prescription needs.The pharmacy staff at CVS is at times off putting, but mostly demonstrate professionalism. They are willing to answer questions, and provide guidance regarding prescriptions. I have always found the a few pharmacists to be approachable, taking the time to address any concerns and ensure that the medications are correctly understood and used.In addition to prescription services, CVS Pharmacy offers a wide range of over-the-counter medications, health products, and personal care items. This variety makes it a one-stop shop for various needs, whether you're looking for pain relievers, vitamins, or even greeting cards..However, one aspect that could be improved is the wait time at the pharmacy counter, particularly during peak hours. While the staff does their best to handle the influx of customers, occasionally the wait can be longer than desired. However, it is worth noting that they implemented online prescription refills and mobile app features that can help streamline the process and reduce wait times.

This is a horrible CVS every time I call I can never get through they never answer! and every time I go to pick up my medication it's NEVER ready! So aggravating! my doc calls in medications in the morning and when I get off work in the evening to pick it up it's still not ready! Smh worst CVS evvver!!

Horrendous service in the pharmacy! I can't believe how poorly managed the store at 5100 S Laburnum is. The pharmacy closes for lunch every day, at a crucial time when customers need to pick up medications. Many times we go up there to pick up my elderly mothers scripts and the pharmacy is closed due to technical issues or staff shortages. A NATIONAL CHAIN PHARMACY! My mother suffers from ALS and is rapidly declining and she's had a much needed med just sitting "in process" for over a week. Today we received the notice from her insurance company that the med was approved by them almost immediately in November! I haven't been able to get through to the pharmacy to find out why it was never filled on their end, in addition to a breathing med prescribed by her pulmonary Dr a week ago so she wouldn't exasperate in her sleep. The pharmacy is probably closed for dinner too or they just don't answer the phone. CVS, you are creating a disservice to the people of Richmond, Va who rely on you for medical assistance! At this rate you should just close your doors... you are an embarrassment to the East End!

Went in here today, to see an overworked young lady. They had this girl working the entire store there was literally no one else there. On top of that she had people complaining and having problems. I am giving one star to cvs not to the woman working today. You should be ashamed of yourselves for doing that to your employees. No wonder why people don't want to work for your company.
