I never have issues with the staff but the Pharmacy usually doesn't have all my prescriptions so I usually have to go to another location.

Hoi, one of the pharmacists at this location (2738 West Broad St, Richmond, VA) is one of the rudest, most uncaring, least helpful employees that I have ever encountered in my entire life, at a pharmacy, anywhere. I don't have a choice, but to use this pharmacy because they are one of the only ones that regularly stock my medication. He lies about CVS policies, whenever he is asked to do something he doesn't personally want to do or that requires more effort. He will just say he can't do it because of CVS policy. Today he refused to fill a prescription and blamed it on CVS policy. I called two other CVS locations who were able to fill the script and said that was wrong about CVS policy. He clearly lied. He also asks very personal questions about why I am taking a certain medication. He asks very personal questions about my medical condition, which are HIPAA violations. He questions the way my physician is treating my condition. Today, he hung up the phone mid sentence as I was asking questions, trying to understand why he refused to fill my prescription. This is not a one time occurrence. I now try to avoid going to the pharmacy when he's working, but today I had no choice. I will be filing a lawsuit against him for discrimination for refusing to fill my prescription. Obviously it wasn't against policy because another CVS location less than 5 miles away filled it without issues and without questions.

Trè, Shavon, Tiffany, Rachel are THE BEST and are so helpful Please please please give them the respect and pay they deserve. They are amazing staff and they never fail to deliver quality and timely service !! 10/10 would recommend this CVS and it’s top notch service and staff.

Do not take passport photo there, the photos are blurry and not fulfilling the requirements.

If I could do less than 1 star then I absolutely would. I was trying to pick ip a prescription for my girlfriend and a quick CVS pickup that shouldn't have taken more than 15 minutes had me in there for an HOUR. The lines moved slower than snails pace. Usually I under because CVS pharmacies can be understaffed but they seemed to have 7 people behind the counter. I don't have pharmaceutical experience but I know for certain that some of them were not doing work. At first I went to the pickup line but was told I had to do prescription stuff at the drop off window. Putting aside the confusion of how that works, I went and stood in that line for around 30 minutes. My girlfriend's dermatologist had called ahead of time to make sure the prescription was there so we know they had it. Despite that, they tried to say they didn't. We had to bring up that the dermatologist already called and magically they actually did have it. Additionally, the lady who was at the window very loudly announced the common name of the prescription drug, which really upset me as that is not information the whole CVS needed to know. Anyways, after the prescription magically reappeared, I was told I needed to wait another 10 minutes. That's fine. I get they need to get it ready, but I had already been there for so long so it made the wait even more excruciating. I also saw many others who had to wait for far too long in line because the person at the counter was going so slow. It wasn't until the person whom I presume to be their boss jumped in and got a second person to work the window that they suddenly were capable of giving people their prescriptions in record time! If you are able to, make sure you never have to step foot in this waste of time!

Not the best handler of medications shipped to their retail store that are essential to daily treatment requirements. I will look for a more competent location for future refills.And yes, I do understand the hectic environment of a retail pharmacy, the demands put on the pharmacist and pharmacy techs. It is not a job that most could handle; however, great care has to be used for customers medications in which dosages can not be skipped.

The main pharmacist is SO RUDE! No wonder this location gets a poor rating. I don't know what's happened to CVS as a brand over the years but this place is awful. DO NOT. GET YOUR. MEDS FILLED HERE. PERIOD.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The store employees are rude and bothered everytime you walk in, the store is DIRTY & the pharmacy an absolute disaster. The pharmacist Elizabeth had an attitude that just trying to ask a recommendation seemed to inconvenience her. While looking for the medicine on the shelf I could hear the pharmacy staff and they way they spoke to each other AND customers was appalling. The flamboyant technician was loud, using foul language speaking patients buisness loudly & not keeping any privacy. I wouldn't trust my meds here & walked out without getting the cold medicine I needed.

I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my medication. I have called multiple times and attempted to have my prescription filled at other CVS locations in the area however, all of them, including this location, are "out of stock and need to order more" or "have reached the quota for the month and will not have more until the beginning of the next month". I still do not have the medication that I need.

They take forever to fill prescriptions need more people working pharmacy or something. There’s always huge lines most times too. Worst place to have your meds at
