The move went flawlessly. I had used D1 Moving on two previous occasions, with identical results. From my first call to schedule the job, there was ongoing much-appreciated attention from the most efficient front office staff. The two movers were absolutely superb, highly skilled, and efficient beyond words. Thanks everyone for another five-star experience.

Damaged 3 items worth about 3500..00. They Said they would get people to fix them but then just sent a check for about 300.00.

The D1 Team was amazing. From the initial contact and estimate, through the move, they were responsive and professional. The estimate was very reasonable, and accurate! The crew that handled the move itself was courteous and efficient. I would use them again!

Great experience moving with D1. They were reasonably priced and very helpful before, during and after the move. The move team took care with our belongings and were very professional and friendly. The office team was also attentive - ensuring we had everything we needed prior to the move and following up after. Would absolutely recommend to others and use again in the future. Thank you D1!!

Our family has moved many times, including international moves, and this was the WORST move. We were told that it would take about 8 hours and end around dinner time. Instead, it ended around Midnight. Furniture was damaged. The crew started screaming at us because we pointed out the damage and we gave no tip when we paid. Finally the crew left because my husband said he was going to call the police. The next day, D1 called. They still had some of our stuff on a truck. They would not bring it to us. They wanted us to fetch it.
Finally, they agreed to leave the stuff at our OLD house and we got it from there. I have called the company and tried to speak to them but was sent to VM.

When it was time to move from my home of where I lived for the last 30 years in Richmond to downsize to a townhouse, I knew right away who to call for help. D1 Moving, LLC. They went out of their way to accommodate me on a very busy weekend, and everything was moved safely and securely. I felt safe trusting them to move my antique furniture. They were very efficient also; the move took way less longer than I had anticipated. I highly recommend them, they just made it all so easy! I am so ever grateful to them for the loving care they took when handling my most prized possessions. A class act!

We had a great experience with D1 Moving. Our crew, Deiran G., Jeremiah H. and Shermon L., was a dream team! They were enjoyable to work with and gave 110% effort from arrival to finish. Rusty and Lynn provided excellent customer service on the front and back ends of the process, offering last minute accommodations to help us get moved into our home as soon as possible. KUDOS D1!

Jermaine, Trey, and Davon were absolute rockstars and crushed the move! They moved stuff back into our apartment from storage after a flood and despite us having unwieldly furniture, a flight and a half of stairs to the upstairs bedroom, and way too much stuff, they fit things in and made it work in record time. They were friendly and fun as well as dedicated and professional and I couldn’t have asked for a better moving team!!
