I’ve been to a lot of food lion this one for some reason just has a hostile employees no greeting no thank you. Very bad vives not coming back anytime soon which is a shame I live close by.

I’ve been coming to this location for the last three years and recently I’ve noticed how inconsistent the cashiers can be. I usually let it go, but after my trip this afternoon (03/17 in the 4:00 hour) - I decided to leave a review.My cashier today (their nameplate read Lucas, had blonde hair and was working register 1 as full service) was by far the most un-customer service oriented cashier I have ever experienced. They didn’t greet me, or even speak to me, until they asked me if I had my MVP card. I had asked if the machine took the number and she just gestured toward the screen and looked at me like I was stupid for not realizing that it had. My groceries were bagged terribly - I got home to punctured meat containers and smushed bread. I felt rushed and I didn’t even get a response when I wished them a good evening.I’d suggest some serious customer training for anyone who is in a role that requires them to provide customer service. Because, based on these reviews, THAT is what this store needs to get better reviews.There’s a handful of cashiers that I just try to avoid because they look miserable and clearly don’t enjoy their job. Or the service they provide is seriously lacking or intentionally slow.There are a few that I absolutely love getting to chat with and have formed friendly relationships with over the years. I find that going early in the day is the best time to come across more friendly and competent workers.The store is typically always clean and overall well stocked. I just wish the service was better and more consistent.

Convenient, close to work and friendly. Small food lion but havnt had a trip where I didn't find what I need. Tried the hot food twice, it was meh but better than expected for grocery store hot lunch. Staff is genuinely friendly and store is clean.

This is such a nice store! Also has excellent service and customer care. Was helped by multiple people on my quest to find some things! They seem to have great prices as well. Very clean! Great work Food lion Management team!
