Usually love Four brothers but had a terrible experience today. They charge extra for toppings which is no big deal but my sandwich today had absolutely no toppings on it at all. Even though i paid for the toppings. I should’ve checked my order before i left but it was raining so i was trying to get home quickly. This place is too expensive for them to mess up an order in which you pay extra for things.

One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. So glad I finally was able to stop by and try this place out. Highly recommend!

The place states on the window "best cheese steak this side of Philly". So knowing me, had to test them. Short answer, they should remove the language on their window. Not even top 5 in the city of Richmond. 13 bucks gets u what looks like a few inch short of a foot, no vegetables other than the onions the beef is grilled with. Wayyy toooo saltyyy. The best part was the bread by far. And that's probably because it was helping me get the salt out my mouth. Guzzled the purifying waters of Richmond rivers and was out like sprout in spring. I'm a Kool Kat so I'm leaving three stars.

I got a Philly Cheese Steak with mushrooms to go, they forgot my Mushrooms, even though I paid extra for it.. alright whatever.. I took a bite and it tasted like a stale club soda. Absolutely No Flavor, I was sincerely let down.. so sad. Needless to say.. I'll never eat here again.. maybe something else they sell might have some flavor? I'll never know, they blew it for me.. good luck with this place

The Havoc was great. I delivered orders from this place and the food smelled good. Finally went there and it did not disappoint.

I go here most Tuesday evenings for their 9.99 burger and fries deal, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The food is always delicious. The portion sizes are great, especially for the price. The staff is always friendly, and most recently, they acknowledged me as a regular which is super fun. I have no complaints and encourage you to go get one of these tasty burgers for yourself.

Don't bother going to Charlie's around the corner. Or do, then come back because Charlie's sets the bar so low you'll be blown away by Four Brothers. Their bread is very good, and their burgers and cheesesteaks are solid. They offer whiz as a cheese option, which they cook in I believe. If you're used to Mojos (RIP) you'll want to ask for extra cheese. Their fries are also solid. They came out piping hot and sprinkled with seasoning salt.

Four Brothers Bistro & Grill is a well-kept secret on Lombardy Street in Richmond, VA, on the corner of a brick mall not too far from Maymont Park. Four Brothers used to have a Food Truck, but now they’re proud to serve you from their brick and mortar establishment seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. My husband and I were greeted warmly by Josh, the manager, as soon as we entered the restaurant. Josh welcomed us by telling us all about the menu, featured on the left when you enter, and the daily special, the loaded Texas Jack Burger. We soaked up all the tasty details about this diverse menu, which included gyro pita wraps, black and bleu burger, turkey cheddar bacon sub, Reuben sandwiches, chicken Caesar Wrap, Greek salad, and Cobb salad, in addition to sides such as potato salad and Volcano fries. We had made up our minds that we wanted to order the Philly cheesesteak and the bacon cheese fries, as I had thoroughly enjoyed this meal previously at the sadly now-closed Virginia Center Common location a few years back with a friend. A victim of the Pandemic, this location of Four Brothers was the sole reason that we decided to make the trip to Four Brothers on Lombardy. When our orders came up so quickly, we were dazzled by how inviting and scrumptious our melting cheese looked all over our subs and fries! Steaming hot cheese dancing with sauteed onions and thinly sliced, sauteed steak, between two toasted sub rolls, made this cheesesteak a delight. I chose mozzarella (that’s the classic choice for a Philly cheesesteak, or so I thought?) and my husband enjoyed American cheese (the *other* standard cheese choice for Philly cheesesteaks). Whose steak sub was better? It was impossible to decide! There’s nothing I enjoy more than potato skins on French fries, so these cheese fries did not disappoint. Leaving the skin on the fries not only makes them more attractive to look at - ah, brown ridges and bumps, there you are - but more flavorful as well. These fries were fried perfectly, so that they remained crisp under the melted cheese and chopped bacon. Let’s talk about that bacon - it was rendered flawlessly to give it that crispy crunch, that thick texture, that salty, meaty flavor. It’s time to return to Four Brothers to try their burgers, as many people mentioned in their Google reviews how much they enjoyed them. When do you plan to go to Four Brothers?
