“My initial contact with Cremation Choice of Virginia was with Kaylinn Bezenar, the Funeral Director. She was super helpful in getting me set up as an Agent for a dear friend who went into hospice. They were very helpful when it came time to prepare for and perform cremation. Kaylinn was helpful in the death certificate preparation and delivered cremains and certificates to our home. Their sensitivity during this challenging time was much appreciated.”

From beginning to end, Kathy and Ashley took care of everything I needed for my Mom’s cremation and went above and beyond to educate me and assist me. From the first call, Kathy was clear on their services for cremation and what was provided for their flat fee. There was no up-sale or pressure. We knew my Mother’s time was limited so she got right to me with paperwork before hand so I didn’t have to wait until her passing when I would likely be an emotional wreck to answer the necessary questions and complete the forms. When the time came, Dylon and another gentlemen were excellent when they picked my mom up. They were dressed in suits, even though it was the wee hours of the morning, and they were respectful and showed so much care for her body. Once on site, Kathy and Ashley kept me updated on every step and gave great advice to questions I had. My Mother’s remains were prepared quickly and provided respectfully. They even posted her obituary for me which got updated to prominent obituary sites that would have cost me $150. They didn’t hound me about payment but I did pay them promptly because this is a business that’s providing a service - from reviews of this and other similar businesses, I think some people expect that, since this is a sensitive time, that funeral homes and cremation people should be more understanding about payments but their prices are far less than others for the same services you would receive for more money and they have costs (pick up, examiner, actual cremation) and need to be compensated in a reasonable timeframe. I will definitely recommend this business to others and I’m so glad I chose them!”

“Great first experience using Pet Cremation Services for my pet's end of life care. I called mid day on a Friday after unexpectedly loosing our beloved Cockatiel, Memphis. Without hesitation Mary allowed me to drop him off within an hour of me calling her. When me and my 5 year old daughter got there we were met with compassion and kindness. The turn around of getting our Memphis back home was prompt as well, I requested that a few of his tail feathers be returned to us and sure enough she obliged and followed through (I used a different business before and requested this and they did not follow through)

I will definitely have Mary and staff look over my pets when the time comes again.”
