I bought leather sofas from this store which started sagging in less than a month. The description on the website is a lie: "high quality and sharp look for years to go". Mine doesn't last for more than a month!! Their warranty is another lie and they don't take responsibility. They also don't reveal the technician report (the technician mentioned sagging is a manufactured problem). Be aware of Haynes Credit card too because they only take Haynes's side without reading your claim. The fake store has no confidence in its product to make the customer happy. I bought a lot of other furniture from Macy's.

Seven months ago, I bought an Aireloom adjustable bed from Haynes Furniture store for my elderly mother, while adjusting the head of the bed, using the remote control the mattress unexpectantly slam down to a flat position leaving my mother scare and shocked. Checking under the bed and taking a picture it became crystal clear that the mechanical metal piece that allows the head of the bed to move up and down had broken off the hydraulic pump. Haynes has refused to take any responsibility for what looks like a defective part. The fact that Haynes has been around over a hundred year is no guarantee they will stand behind their product. In my view, Haynes Furniture store is untrustworthy and unreliable. Charles L. Bradley

II just called Haynes Furniture on Hull Street to inquire about wall to wall carpeting for my house. I was told that I would have to call Virginia Beach location because they had no specialist at this location to talk with. They informed me that I could come in and look at carpeting but there was no carpet specialist to discuss questions I might have. Talking to Virginia Beach was the only option. My house is not in Virginia Beach! Sorry Haynes.

So, we embarked on a daring mission to Haynes right before the shopping apocalypse known as Black Friday. Our target: a majestic sofa for our den. Now, despite residing a mere stone's throw away from the store, we decided to splurge on delivery, because let's face it, we're not getting any younger, and hoisting a sofa is a young person's game! I spoke with the silver-tongued salesman and he assured us that the delivery guys will put the sofa in any room we wanted. The big day arrives, and the delivery crew is punctual - hats off to them for that. But then, our hopes of gracefully ushering our holiday guests into the den to admire our new sofa were crushed like a pancake under a piano. Instead of being our furniture knights in shining armor, they turned out to be more like "box ninjas." They refused our humble request to move the sofa to the den. So, fast forward to the holidays, and instead of lounging like royalty on our new den sofa, our guests will be perched awkwardly on a box in the middle of our living room, like the centerpiece of a furniture-based comedy act. I cannot rate the quality of the sofa, however, the box is nice and our cat loves it just the way it is. Guests find it a little awkward though. At least it'll give everyone something to talk about, right?

Called to ask about getting carpet scraps for some DIY projects for my cats. They told me to stop in at 9 am to talk to someone. I took off of work, and drove 40 minutes to the store. Got there at 9:10 a.m. They don’t open until 10. So they lied to me on the phone, and now I’m out almost 2 hours of work because of it. All for nothing. I don’t understand the need to lie to someone over the phone. If this is the type of service you employ, I’m probably better off going somewhere else. I can only imagine how they treat others once they figure out there’s no more commission to be made off of them.

I purchased a unique TV console and came in half an hour before the store closed. I wanted to take the piece home the same day and everyone involved worked hard to make it happen, the sales person, the manager and the person at the pickup who helped me loading the furniture in my car. Thank you so much!!! Great team work and a great selection, especially in your entrance area with all those unique treasures!

Excellent customer service! Our sales person, Nicole was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and did not pressure us to make a decision immediately. However, we liked the dining set and with Nicole’s exceptional sales style… we made a decision.

Went in to browse, found a sofa and chair I love, not purchased yet but R.C. was very helpful and I was able to take home some fabric samples, also helpful. Everyone in the store was welcoming and friendly.So far a great experience, hope to have more positive feedback to report if purchased. Great prices too!

Price was great. Customer service was quite poor. Purchased a recliner at The Dump, told to pick up at Haynes a week later. Then told it didn't make the truck from Williamsburg warehouse, so wait another week. Had to schedule appointment to pick up, which they changed 3 times. Then when I arrived, they initially said they did not have any more of the chair I ordered and paid for - oversold! They tried to explain how that happened which of course did nothing for my problem. Finally they found a floor model. They at first said they could not discount a floor model, and tried to convince me it was such a good deal anyway. But finally the manager gave me $50 off for my trouble.

Our sales associate Nick was amazing. He took the time to show us all around, helped us find the needs for our home, and did so with great service. During checkout a manger called him away and he was no longer able to help us. In his absence the other associates asked if we needed help, but since our sale was complete they we’re not willing to help us out. We had to wheel out our purchases and load them ourselves.

R. C. Is the best salesman ever! I had a lot of extenuating circumstances but he went the extra 100 miles to make it happen. And not even a high value sale. Super nice and professional fellow!! HIGHLY recommend this store.

Bill Estes and Bobby are great! Bill was so knowledgeable, Patience and was very Pleasant to work with I brought a mattress an a mattress cover that keeps you cool. He stayed right in my budget and I got what I needed. You guys at Haynes Furniture are Awesome ? Hull Street!

Chris was very helpful! If he didn't know the answer to something we asked he immediately would find someone or look up the answer. We walked in to Haynes to just look at a sofa and we ended up walking out with a chair, sofa, bedroom set and another piece of furniture! All because Chris made the process extremely easy that day. Thank you so much! Also, Nicole helped get our order and made the finalized process very quick.
