We were looking for an obscure light bulb. Dan The Man went out of his way to help us. He looked at other HD stock. We called Short Pump but although they indicated 12 in stock, none could be found. He then found stock across the river. We went there and purchased 3 packages! He went above and beyond.

Usually a good all inclusive hardware store but they took an order that apparently was never registered in the system. Everyone makes mistakes but come on, this is your job.

I wish I had the picture of the two ladies sitting down in the paint department in the front of the store . It’s was also another person standing there and no one greeted the customers. When I walked in no carts was accessible because they had blocked off one of the doors at 8:30. that was where the carts were. I knew that it was getting closing soon because of Man panicking as I was walking up, he asked me what time it was .

To be honest I was a Lowe's guy, but not anymore. I went to TWO different Lowes to purchase plywood and get it cut, both Lowes told me their saw machine was down. Also both Lowes immediately offered to SELL me a saw(even though I know nothing about using a power saw). While I was walking out of the second Lowe's I was thinking about heading to the third Lowe's which is on Mechanicsville, but I thought to myself is it really a coincident that neither one of the Lowes on Laburnum or Broad Street did not have a working saw machine? But both were quick to offer to sell me a power saw? It just felt like they did not want to provide good customer service and cut a board for me, but instead they wanted a sale. So instead of going to the third Lowe's, I went to Home Depot. I was immediately helped, and got exactly what I wanted. GREAT JOB HOME DEPOT, WAY TO SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY!

Really sad to see the rotten roots of this small orchid. Unfortunately it is one of many (dozens! In fact). This one has no decorative pot. It's been discarded by someone and tossed to the side to die. Many of the house plants are either being killed by over watering or receiving no water at all. The plants that are over watered are infested with fungus gnats. Beware! These fungus gnats will spread to your other plants at home if conditions are right. Since the plants are so poorly taken care of and are under constant stress many of the plants I've purchased in hopes to save them end up dying when taken home. It's upsetting to see such an huge selection of neglected and sick plants. This location, specifically could be a wonderful resource to the local community of plant enthusiasts. Plus, according to WebMD houseplants provide cleaner indoor air, lessen allergies with their leaves and other parts of the plants because they act as natural filters to catch allergens and other airborne particles. Home Depot really needs to solve the neglect and total disregard for offering sick and diseased houseplants to the community. I can imagine having to throw away thousands of plants each year is a large source of lost revenue maybe that alone will help them figure it out in the meantime I wouldn't buy plants from this location.

I'm a very reasonable person, but I can honestly say I probably had one of the most horrible purchase experiences buying my toro zero turn mower. It was back and forth with the customer service when purchasing online. Firstly, I wanted one that hadn't been sitting outisde in the weather. Then I get informed that none of the Toros at the store had any keys. The drop date was pushed back.. I'm told I will get a discount if I go get the keys MYSELF from tractor supply. I then get another call a day later saying they found a key. I get my mower dropped many days after ideal date, however, I'm told I'd be recieving a call when it is in route. I never got a call. After waiting around all day I go outside to see my mower had been dropped off to the WRONG house on another street. I couldn't get through to a customer service agent. I had to push the mower in neutral all the way to my house. It was cleary one that had been sitting outside as hardware and engine casing was weathered. Once powered up and riding, to top it all off, the alignment was off. SMH. Had to call yet again because the discount was never processed. Very disappointing.
