Extremely disappointed by H&R Block.
I was given misleading information by the tax preparer about how the preparation fee would be deducted from my refunds. State or Federal. I spoke with the manager at this location, and she repeatedly told me to call my bank to check about my state refund.
Later in the call, she finally informed me that H&R Block's fee had been deducted from my state refund. (ALL of it)
When I filed my taxes, I was told that my FEDERAL REFUND would be where the preparation fee would be deducted from. The H&R Block manager acted like it was my fault for not knowing this.
I was given incorrect and misleading information about which refund the preparation fee would be paid from.
This is horrible customer service and I feel totally misled by the information provided to me by the tax preparer at H&R Block. Also, the manager advising me to check my bank for a refund (state) that was not coming to my bank for me.

Worst experience ever. First you have someone who doesn’t know how to file properly. He was slow and then when asked to check banking info he was unable to find it. He showed me my mortgage page and was asking if this was correct. Then we had to wait for another H&R Block lady to review what he input before we could sign and file. She had just wrapped up with someone and we were ready. Instead of taking us she decided to take someone who just walked in and asked if we could give her a few minutes. We waiting for 20 minutes before we got up and walked out. On a Saturday they are booking appointments with only 2 people in office. One who doesn’t know how to do it fully and one who is suppose to check it. They had bad customer service and I will definitely NOT be returning to this location (9006 West Broad St.)
