Still haven’t received our tax refund that we filed over a year ago. They keep giving us the run around saying it will be here in 30 days then it never shows up.

This is unacceptable for the Internal Revenue Service. Where is the people money. Why is this taking so long with receiving what we as American people paid into. I suggest this country does not need a tax base system as it is a way to keep the rich richer and the poor to middle class poorer.

Impossible to talk to anyone, impossible to get answers, impossible to actually GET MY REFUND AS OF TODAY!!! I paid my taxes, had a child, and the IRS OWES ME MY MONEY. WHERE IS IT!?! I’m now going through hardship because of this!!!

As of October 4,2022 I sat on the phone for a hour and ten minutes just for a associate to pick and hang up on me as I’m stating my concerns. I was told back in July that I should receive my taxes by the end of September. I mailed in my taxes on the weekend of March 4th. I’ve verified my identity and I have not received any notices in the mail. I checked my transcript and it says that I have not filed taxes. I’ve filed every year since I’ve been of age. Simply when will we receive our tax refunds?

I’ve been getting letters from them literally all year saying wait more days for my taxes. Since February I’m waiting on my money. They will take your money asap but they won’t ever give it to you.

0 STARS!!! I have called every single day since APRIL 21st! No one is ever available and due to the high volume call you are told to call back on another business day.... I have yet to receive my refund, but yet, if I owed the IRS, THEY would ensure they received MY money! THE ENTIRE IRS IS A SCAM TO SAY THE LEAST!!

I’ve called several times and the IRS robot will not let contact a representative. The bot is not able to answer all of my questions and will literally hang up on . This starts this process over again . I rated this 1 star because hiring a robot to do the IRS job is not customer service . It’s just running away from the service tax Ayer’s expect you to do .

I have contacted the IRS numerous times and have not been able to speak to a live person at all. I filed my taxes electronically back on 1/31/2022 and received notification that I had to go through the ID ME VERIFICATION PROCESS. All of the years I have filed my taxes and never have gone through this. Completed that process back in March and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND AS OF YET ??. It's asinine that you can not speak to a live person but if you owe them (The IRS) they are very quick to take their money or your home to satisfy that debt. They are awful at how they are handling this process and issuing refunds for people that need it. I pay my taxes faithfully. Maybe if we all stopped paying, then maybe we can talk to someone.

It’s ridiculous how we can’t get ahold of anyone when we call. It goes straight to the automated voice message. Thank you government.

They left me on hold for over 2 hours until they closed instead of answering why they were accusing me of not paying my taxes, yet they cashed the check I sent them with my taxes.

Made an appointment over a month in advance for 10:15am. Showed up at 10am and waited almost two hours for my appointment to even start. Looks like they only had one person working the help desk.

Our sister died in 2019. My brother and I were appointed by the courts as Administrators of her estate. We had the estate taxes prepared for 2019, the estate had a debt to the IRS. We mailed the return and a check from the estate account to pay the debt in May 2020. It took 4 months for the IRS to process that check, it cleared the estate account in September 2020.In August 2021, the IRS sent a letter addressed to me but at my brother’s address saying the taxes were never paid, charged us penalty and interest and gave us 30 days to respond. I sent a copy of the cleared check, the bank statement showing it cleared and a letter explaining this. I sent the letter certified on September 11th. I also on the same day sent a copy of the cleared check with the remittance coupon and another copy of my letter. Tonight my brother called me and said there’s another IRS letter at his house for me, dated for tomorrow actually.. its from a different IRS division this time, from a different city and state from the first letter, it’s an Intent to Levy or Seize my personal property for non payment of the estate taxes for which they cashed the check a year ago. As everyone knows, you can’t get through on the phone. I have 30 days to satisfy them that the debt was paid in full in May 2020. Aside from sending letters I’m not sure what else to do. I’m afraid they’re going to take my home and whatever is in my checking account. We done nothing wrong in the handling of our sister’s estate. Yet now I have to waste more time trying to make them understand the debts been paid and praying they still don’t take my house.

If you think going inside for a 1-1 appointment with these people will solve your problems think again. Its vague answers and they trick you using beaurocratic jargon and refuae to give you any straight or honest response. I have been here twice in the past 3 months and still havent resolved my issue.
