This store is not as well cared for as it once was. I was greeted by a woman begging for change in the vestibule area next to the shopping carts. The bathrooms are disgusting. Today is July 14th. The bathroom cleaning chart says the last time it was cleaned was July 4th, which was 10 days ago.

THIS kroger seems to be the ONLY kroger that the prices of its gas are top secret and only when you go to the location can you find out what the prices are! Don't get me wrong as I do a lot of shopping at kroger but even if you call them they won't tell you over the phone and for some reason the prices don't get posted on gas buddy, richmondgas, or google representing current prices

Tania in the self-checkout lane today was awesome! It's your classic suburb Kroger, all the things you need to be prepared for grilling or the week ahead. It was a Sunday afternoon, long lines, and people trying to get about their day. She did a great job moving the line, letting people know which lanes were open, and handling any issues with ease while also having just an all around fantastic personality. She is the kind of employee who really can take an organization the extra mile, thanks for making my trip to Kroger today east and stress free!!

On a visit yesterday the shelves were poorly stocked. The bathroom was filthy. If they don't care about the cleanliness of the restroom what do you think the storeroom is like? How clean is the meat counter? I'll skip this location from now on.

I don't know the ladies name, but she always stands up when a customer approaches and smiles. Good quality to have and the gestured is appreciated

This review is for the Kroger gas station located at Willow Lawn- today's news of gas shortages and outages on the east coast had everyone in a panic. I was on empty when I got the news and had tried to gas up at another station earlier but there were chaotic lines blocking the street and I had to get back to work. At 6 pm I started driving home looking for a place to get gas. First place had "out of gas" signs on every pump. Passed chaotic lines at all stations for several miles, but when I got to Willow lawn there was a police officer and an employee directing traffic and expediting people to the next open pump. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and even got my Kroger fuel points discount! Very impressed! I will add that I have also been impressed by the customer service in the grocery store at that location. Good job, Kroger!

Ick. I live so close to this location that Yelp Maps offers walking instead of driving directions, but it's also my least favorite nearby grocery store. It had been years since my last visit, but yesterday I needed a seasoning I didn't have at home and figured maybe a Friday afternoon wouldn't be so terrible. I was obviously wrong. Just turning into the lot was a "yikes" moment. I was able to find a parking spot without issue, started walking toward the store, and a pickup began to reverse as I was directly behind it. I screamed to avoid a human/car collision and then continued toward the building. As I continued toward the store, another big vehicle came racing down the path. It got extremely close to me (in the white striped crosswalk), before revving its engine and racing on after I made it to the storefront, as if my existence had massively inconvenienced him. Ugh. So I walked into the store, up to the spice aisle, and considered looking around a bit -- but the anxiety from how busy the store was made me head toward the self check outs. The woman manning the area gave me a weird look as I approached, as if it was suspect to purchase one item. The good part in all this? I used my typically neglected Kroger card and saved $2. But was the $2 worth the location's Willow Lawn agita? That's a big nope.

How do you let whatever this is that happened to the tomatoes get to this state. I lost my appetite for Roma tomatoes. Not sure if I'll ever eat them again. The last time that I was here, they felt as if they had a sticky oil on them. Now this

Always have trouble at this Kroger. Shopping on Sundays is hard as they often run out of stock of things, especially produce. Could not buy broccoli today because there was none. On a recent trip, meat I was purchasing that was supposed to be discounted rang up as full priced. They made the correction, but it added unnecessary wait time. Just today I bought some baby carrots, got home and bit into one and thought the texture was off. Flipped the package over to find that they expired over a month ago. Not worth my time to drive back and return them, annoying nonetheless as they were the one snack I purchased to eat throughout the week. Overall this Kroger is lacking compared to other locations.

I was in the Kroger at Willow Lawn in Richmond, VA tonight between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m. While shopping I noticed one of the women behind the counter in the kitchen area. She had a hairnet on and seemed to have just eaten something. Not only was she licking her fingers, but was cleaning her gums and teeth with her index finger. When she finished she just stood there talking to another employee. I went to the customer service desk, told the man there what I had just seen and told me I'd need to talk to the manager. He called the manager (Scott), I told him what I'd seen and he didn't seem to believe me. Not a "thank you" or "I'm sorry that happened"...he just walked off toward the kitchen area. He was probably as stunned as I was that something like what I had witnessed would happen during COVID-19. I finished checking out my groceries and as I walked out, I saw that the woman was still behind the food counter. Not sure how this situation was handled. This Kroger needs to be sure all its employees are compliant with the most basic sanitary and hygienic practices. Right now it doesn't seem to be the case. Also, they are cleaning the cart handles with Pine-Sol. Is that strong enough?

Just seen a mouse at this Kroger. Tried telling an employee that it was on aisle 3 (water and soda) and she seemed uninterested and not surprised. I normally love this Kroger and will go out of my way to shop here because of the friendly employees and free samples but that was really disturbing. They also removed the free fruit for children.

This is ABSOLUTE WORST Kroger in the Richmond area! First of all, parking sucks, the store is small and disorganized. But the worst of all is the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their is a tall gentleman who makes sure he does whatever he can to be difficult. My 85year old grandma went in to exchange a bag of dog food for 8.00 and has never had a problem at any Kroger before, and the customer service rep refused to do either store credit or exchange without a receipt! That is NOT their policy and she even proved her purchase with a digital receipt and he still refused! He won't do a return with a receipt if the Kroger card is not the same, even when it can be verified by debit card number used..which is also not normal policy! It's like they're miserable and also in an area with some crime, so they punish everyone else for it. Avoid this poor excuse for a Kroger at all costs!
