Not going to give you a 1 star because I feel like this is incompetence from higher up. If your employee is going to get upset with me for ringing MYSELF up twice to get your sale twice and then while I’m still there complain about me to your customer service clerk who joins in, maybe CHANGE how your sale/system works. It’s always been by transaction. Change the wording of your sale and make it so my number doesn’t work multiple times.Otherwise inform your employees that doing multiple transactions is ok so we the customers don’t catch an attitude.Sincerely, a long time client

I ordered online for pick up and I received a few items to close to being outdated like bread and my milk like one day it would be not good. The young pickers need to look at the dates on products before they put them in bag for delivery or pick up we as customer will not know until we are home and unpacking items.. also when I was sick and could not get out ordered Kroger online and instacart delivery and the food items were old no name brands and alot of substitutes was missing three items as well it was horrible experience called the delivery did not come as scheduled it was four hours later . I called and they could not even locate my order..I will NOT be ordering that way again so this time picked up and if you ready first part of this review you will see that it seems to get what you want you have to be inconvenience and go into the store .. unfortunately..

I am a long term fan of Kroger & Harris Teeter and feeling very bad with this particular store.1. Expired stuff on selves.2. Rude management (Specially Bob & one more arrogant lady).They always try to give you merchant credit for return with misbehaving attitude.3. Always short of stuff on online orders and kill your coupon.4. Short of common stuff like organic milk, cucumber, tofu, etc.

Management allows absolutely ridiculous lines to form while keeping half (or more) of the self-checkout kiosks disabled and failing to provide sufficient cashiers.

I shop at this Kroger because of the fuel points, but it's getting to the point that it's not even worth it. They either have expired stuff on the shelves or they are out of simple items that I then have to go to another store to purchase. I honestly don't see this place being in business much longer.

I am a Shipt delivery driver and EVERY SINGLE ORDER I’ve tried to pick up from this store hasn’t been ready. It doesn’t matter if I’m early or late. This is a very big inconvenience because Shipt penalizes driver for the store lack of professionalism and lack of employees in the pickup department. I have complained to the store and Shipt because it’s ridiculous at this point. If you want to pickup groceries ON TIME. Try the other Kroger locations because this one sucks.

Nice store but assistance at check out is awful. One older woman with short white hair is absolutely surly. I had stopped shopping there for that reason, popped in for a couple things because I was in that part of town, but will never go back since service has not improved.

Went there at 10:20pm when they close at 11pm and the automatic doors would not open to let me in. Thought they were closed, but no, hours said open until 11pm. A functioning door is an important way to stay in business.

Your usual Kroger location.Big parking lot.Helpful staff.Good discounts with Kroger card.Fresh produce available every time you visit.Kroger gas station available across the parking lot.Starbucks available inside.

Buyers beware: DO NOT USE ONLINE PICKUP!! I'm only giving 1 star because there's not an option to review with zero stars. Just experienced some of the worst customer service ever with the online pickup service at Kroger Short Pump (11895 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23233). Their Pickup department is so poorly staffed and/or incompetent that it took 2 trips to the store to receive my order and that only happened after their customer service tracked down the manager (Craig) to finally hand over my order. I truly don't understand why a manager couldn't have done that the first time I showed up, but I could have overlooked that had Craig not been the least empathetic person I've ever met. He actually told me the whole issue was my fault because I showed up "right before closing", when in fact I arrived at 8:35pm, for an order with a pickup window of 8-9pm. This is one of the lousiest "convenience" services I've ever experienced and I certainly won't be using it again and if you don't want to lose more customers I'd suggest you figure out how to staff your stores properly, get yourselves organized, and hire people who at least act like they care about your customers.
