One of the best Lowes stores in the area. Store is always well kept, staff is always helpful and friendly for the most part, typically not as busy as some of the other ones so you dont end up waiting there forever.

I stopped in at the Brook Road location Sunday afternoon and was having a hard time finding an item. I found a nice young man, Matthew, who looked up what I needed, walked me over to the area, well outside his department, and found the item and showed me several options. He was very friendly and patient. That kind of customer service is hard to come by. It is so noteworthy that I wanted to publicly thank him for his help. Thank you, Matthew. Great job!!

Purchased a brand-new refrigerator on 6/3/25, but due to ongoing renovations, I didn’t plug it in until today. Unfortunately, only the freezer section is working—the refrigerator itself doesn’t cool at all and threw an error message. There is no physical damage to the unit, yet Lowe’s refused to return or exchange it, stating that I now need to go directly through the manufacturer.
As a representative of a large company that frequently makes major purchases, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Lowe’s just lost a significant amount of future business. I will take the company business to Home Depot.

Buyer BEWARE!! Especially of a Tayna!!! I have over the years spent many thousands of dollars at this Lowe’s remodeling 3 kitchens and bathrooms at my rental properties. I recommended and sent my tenant with my card to purchase a lawn mower. I understand that it was previously sold or something was up as it said that the spark plug had been changed. I would assume if you changed the spark plug that they would at least guarantee that it would work. This is Lowe’s. They got it home a it starts for all of 3 minutes. He went to return it today and was told sorry that you didn’t buy an extended warranty and you are pretty much out of luck. You can contact the mower company yourself!!!We are talking about a $140 purchase. They didn’t stand behind it for 2 days. I have never experienced this service in this location or any other Lowe’s in my entire 35 years living in Glen Allen. Please respond with a number or email if you would like to discuss or if you would like to try to resolved.

Employee at the returns desk was incredibly rude to me and I overheard her being rude to another customer as well. Her name tag was covered (gee I wonder why) so I’m not sure of her name

Usually a good experience, however there was hardly anyone in the store. There was an older lady near the self checkout who insisted that i go to the kiosk closest to her. I did. I go to scan my things and she pulls out the scanner- and then chooses to scan each item and watch me put it in the bag. Then she hovered over me while i paid. Lady please, it’s packing tape, pliers, and a couch cover. There were other people checking out and you chose to be weird and in my personal space. I could see if she had reasonable suspicion. I’m in workout clothes and a clear fanny pack!

Someone please pray for Tanya, the worst employee I've ever experienced in retail. She lies and has the worst attitude. (See other reviews here mentioning her). She obviously hates life and other people and I honestly wonder what she's going through or has gone through in life to make her so nasty, unhelpful, and rude. Gerald, if you really are her boss, please do something about her... anything, it's ridiculous. She is losing several thousand dollars in sales at the store. If you're a customer, I suggest avoiding this store completely. If you have any kind of an issue with something, it's going to be an absolute nightmare to deal with Tanya or any other manager who hides in meetings all day.
Tanya, if you see this, I'm literally praying healing over your hardened heart. Your life would be so much better if you cared about others as much as you care about being "right". ?✝️??

Robert is THE MAN!! We needed a solution for a defective piece of furniture that we brought with us and we spoke to multiple associates who were unable to help. Finally we were directed to Robert in Tools because “if anyone knew, it’d be him.” Robert immediately provided a fix to our problem with a smile and pleasant professionalism and it wound up working perfectly and potentially saved us a lot of extra time, money, and headaches! They must have named Bob the Builder after this gentleman because he knows his stuff. We’re so appreciative of his help and highly recommend tapping his wisdom if you have a home improvement related issue.
