“1. If you do not have another reason to go to St. Mary's, where this lab is located, find another location! A new building is being constructed, and I (along with at least ten other cars) spent 30 minutes circling around trying to figure out where to park.
2. The lab is in Suite 303 NORTH. This is not on the lab confirmation message. After parking, I ended up at Suite 303 South and was handed printed directions to Suite 303 North. This obviously happens a lot for them to have printed handouts ready and available!
3. Once I made it to the lab, the phlebotomist, Angie, was so kind and calming, and I barely felt the needle. She really turned around a stressful situation. Without her, this would have been a one or two-star overall experience.”

Connie at Accu-Med was great! She was able to squeeze me in and she was very kind and I barely felt the needle stick!”

“Obviously depends on who does your lab work but my technician was friendly and very good at taking blood. I hardly even had a mark afterwards and I bruise easily and have been brutalized by people taking blood in the past. I waited less than 5 minutes and the whole thing was very quick and relatively painless!”

“I had a really positive experience and went at the recommendation of my husband who was referred by his primary MD. The testing was in a remarkable building with art and exercise equipment integrated into the work spaces of employees. The blood draw was efficient,but the color report I received was quite detailed. The follow-up with an RN for an hour on the phone to review results, look at inconsistencies and discuss areas of concern was engaging and assisted me with questions to take back to my MD. The RN is available, FREE, for ongoing coaching with health changes that for me include all the metabolic syndrome concerns. This will likely allow me to be mindful, and more assertive in terms of lifestyle changes and medication integration to prevent worsening.”

“Many of the reviews state that the front desk had an attitude, and don't get me wrong i thought the same thing when i went in to get lab work, but when the phlebotomist called my name, i saw it was the same lady that was sitting behind the desk. “Highly recommend this asbestos testing kit if you need reliable, trustworthy results, and fast!
After experiencing unexpected water damage in our home our flooring had to be removed overnight. During the process, our contractors became concerned that one of the flooring layers might contain asbestos. We were horrified to think that we may have unknowingly exposed ourselves and our pets.
We found this testing kit and the process couldn't have been easier. The instructions were clear, we tested two samples, and the kit arrived at the lab overnight.
Although we initially purchased the 3-business-day turnaround, I called the morning the lab received our samples to ask about upgrading to the 1-business-day service. That's when I had the pleasure of speaking with Sameer, the Sales and Test Kits Manager. Sameer went above and beyond. He didn't just answer my questions, he genuinely listened to my concerns about the potential exposure and immediately took steps to help expedite our testing. His compassion and professionalism turned an incredibly stressful situation into one where we felt supported and cared for.
He personally assured me he would locate our samples and make sure they were processed that same day. True to his word - he even called me the following day to let me know our results were available in my email. That level of follow-through and customer care is incredibly rare.
Because of Sameer I felt confident that we had chosen the right company. It's clear that SLGI values not only accurate testing but also the people behind every sample. When you're dealing with something as frightening as a possible asbestos exposure, having someone who genuinely cares makes all the difference.
