New Grand Mart is my favorite international/asian grocery store in Richmond. They have a large variety of produce, meats, frozen items and regular shelved items. They carry a lot of Japanese items I regularly buy, yakiniku sauce, bulldog sauce, kewpie mayo. I love their instant ramen section they have the biggest variety I have seen. The store is clean and organized. The people working in the store are always friendly when ringing me out.

It's 100% recommended. It is a big store where you can find ingredients from a great variety of places, fresh fish, crabs, vegetables, Kimchi, tofu, noodles etc.The prices are affordable and there is plenty of parking space.I recommend having a shopping list before going and not going in a hurry, otherwise you can miss all of the great number of things you can get.

They have an amazing selection of international foods. Their produce area is off the hook. They have a little bit of everything. My only complaint is it feels a bit dirty. The floors need a lot of work.

I want to rate here higher, I really do. It’s a place in Richmond you can find tofu, cassava, kimchi, hot peppers, curry powder, ramen, meats and other fish. There really is a diverse array of products here. They would need to invest in their facility more to really have a 5 star shopping experience here. The floors, ceilings, and aisles really feel like a dirty 1990s grocery store. They could do a lot better to make it a cleaner and more enjoyable shopping experience.

That’s your job to knowing product’s prices as a cashier. Ask your manager if you don’t know it that is okay. Not just telling a customer rudely to go check the price themselves and take a picture of it then come back to the line to show it to you. That is your job!

This store has a wide variety of Asian and Hispanic foods, snacks, produce and items for your home and kitchen. In the back of the store there is meats and a seafood section with live and fresh fish. The fish area has a pretty strong fish smell but you can also smell the cleaning products which is nice too. There is a huge area for ramen and ramen items you can throw in like seaweed strips and more. They have several different selections of kimchi in the cooler and in the aisles in cans and I grabbed a few different ones to try.In the front of there store there is a small restaurant with a bunch of different foods that is hot and a little sitting area where you can enjoy it there if you want. The store was a little dirty as far as the floors and coolers and a lot of items did not have prices on them so I had to assume for a few things I got. All over this is a very nice store for items you would not find in a regular grocery store.

This international market has a vast selection of both fresh and packaged produce and proteins. The produce section has an amazing array of hard to find vegetables & fruits, as well as fresh herbs & spices. The packaged and canned foods are from every corner of the globe and there is extensive fresh and frozen meats, fish and dishes. Give yourself plenty of time to browse and locate your ingredients in this large grocery store, as it could be overwhelming.

New Grand is a great place to get several items for Asian, Mexican, Korean, and other dishes. There are items that you can not get at Trader Joe's or standard American grocery stores. Prices are really good as well. If you are looking for unique ingredients, come here. If you need spices, come here because they are super fresh and so much cheaper than other places. The only drawback is that the seafood section is especially "ripe" for those of us who dislike seafood or the smells.

I found the majority of the produce to be in Poor condition. When I first walked in, I was impressed by the 'mountains' of produce, but upon closer inspection, you could see it was not fresh for most of it. It was quite warm and humid in the facility, and that probably didn't help. Prices were quite a bit higher than Walmart or Kroger, including for their meat, which was honestly a very limited selection. The cleanliness of the place was very low, and honestly, I wouldn't touch any of their seafood. I'll stick with smaller Latino Marts and Walmart/Kroger/Wegmans for quality produce and prices that really are lower than this place.

It's a helpful place to find a variety of ingredients! Staff kind and helpful when I misplaced my wallet ❤️I will say though please check the expiration dates because all of the refrigerated miso pastes I found today were way out of date :c
