We purchased a Leggett & Platt Prodigy Comfort Elite Adjustable Bed Frame from Richmond Bedding . After online research for vendors of this bed frame, we settled on Richmond partly on their pricing, partly on their description of the frame and their policies including extended warrantees, and partly on ratings of previous customers and business practices. They require the order to be placed over the phone and from there on out, the completion of the order and followup on some difficulties were efficiently handled. They let us know from the beginning that there could be potential problems with manufacturing and delivery due to COVID & weather which was useful in setting reasonable expectations. When asked for delivery updates and help with accessories, Tim gave direct, pragmatic, no-nonsense responses.Unfortunately, after 6 weeks, our bed arrived with severe freight damage so we declined to accept delivery. Tim immediately went to work with his L&P associate to get a replacement bed quickly shipped. Four weeks later, we received our replacement--shorter manufacturing and delivery than the first.So far, we are finding the L&P frame to our liking and would recommend Richmond Bedding as a vendor.

********** (10 Stars) These folks are AMAZING!We ordered a mattress and adjustable base direct from Saatva (NOT Richmond Bedding) in early January. On the first delivery, the queen base would not fit in, but they left the mattress since we now had nothing to sleep on. The second time (after spending an extra $1000 to upgrade to a split king) the bases arrived defective, so we were still sleeping on a mattress on the floor. And the whole reason we replaced our mattress was my husband had developed painful sciatica.After a few days the company told us it would be 2 or 3 weeks until the 2 twin bases could be replaced (from Leggett and Platt, who makes the base.) That meant that my husband (86) and I (75) would be sleeping on the floor for close to 2 months.I decided to look around to see who carried L&P bases and find out if they had what we needed in stock. I found Richmond Bedding on Google and they had an almost perfect 5 star rating, so I called. I explained what our situation was and I got a call from Tim, the owner of Richmond Bedding, at 10 PM that night. That was March 2nd.Tim checked and found that he was able to get what we needed and said he'd call L&P in the morning and order them. (Mind you we are in NY and he was in Richmond and have only spoken on the phone.) We paid him on Friday March 4 and the adjustable bases were delivered and set up yesterday March 7. If I had waited for the other company it would be another 2 weeks sleeping on a mattress on the floor!I know this is a long post but I thought others would like to see the lengths Tim and his people went to for someone whom he had never met and who lived 500 miles away.Thank you Tim and Nathaniel!!

Update! 01/29/2022.I just purchased another S-Cape adjustable bed by Leggett and Platt. Once again the folks at Richmond Bedding provided me with White Glove service. I can't say enough good things about this company to match their customer friendlieness and great service. Thanks again!!I purchased an S-Cape adjustable bed by Leggett and Platt. The folks at Richmond Bedding were awesome to work with. They took the time to answer my questions and educate me on the bedding and mattresses for best use. Definitely recommend.

The interior is seriously lacking, for a second I thought I stepped into someone's closet versus a bedding store, with the low lighting and cramped space. Other things that are minimal are the selection of beds and the younger guy's patience with customers with his "obviously Serta and Sealy" when I asked about their brands. His attitude got even worse, if that's possible, when I replied to his question of "what type of bed are you looking for" with medium. It seems his entire purpose was to demean a customer versus attempting to entice them into a sale. No matter, I was simply window shopping today and it probably would have been a time saver for both myself and the two "salespersons" had I not entered this store, so I'll go elsewhere with my money. Surprised with the reviews of this place - me thinks there is some padding going on with fake 5-star reviews for this literal hole in the wall of a place.

I purchased a Leggett and Platt adjustable bed and the price was a great bargain. I was out of state and the service I received from Tim over the phone was very professional and courteous. The bed arrived quickly and without damage. I’m very happy with my purchase from Richmond Bedding!

"It's easy to be bad ,,, it's HARD to be good". I read the COUPLE of bad reviews. Dropping the bottom worst couple and dropping off the BEST couple ,,, AN OVERALL RATING of 4.9 , is a 5.0... AND that's what this company and this Mr. Hiles are,,,5.0. I did quite a bit of research on the various beds and Mr. Hiles gave information in accordance to the manufacturer , others seemed not as accurate and I verified the info with a phone call. Seems Mr. Hiles is forthright about the information and all his efforts, and is firm in his conviction and belief that he is giving a great price on a great product and I , along with almost all the other that left reviews believe. I think that the very few people that were disappointed had their right in their interpretation AND I AM TRULY SORRY THAT THEY DID! (not yelling, but emphasizing) I purchased the frame for my elderly mother and everything went according to what Mr. Hiles AND HIS SON THAT I AM SURE HAS LEARNED VERY WELL FROM HIS DAD!(that was yelling) and the rest is up to the bed itself, been a short period of time but sweet so far. So thanks again Mr. Hiles for your SERVICE and the best beal for a bed for my mom online!

Tim and staff were very enjoyable to work with. We called to inquire on an adjustable base and were purchasing from out of state. It was a huge leap of faith to make a purchase sight unseen. We did our research on adjustable bases and returned to Richmond Bedding for the purchase. We are so pleased we did. Delivery was exactly as promised and the bed and its features are just what we needed. Tim was very thorough and knowledgeable. We’ve recommended others to Richmond Bedding. You won’t be sorry dealing with them.

This company is very user friendly. They are very knowledgeable about what they sell. The process was very seamless. From the purchase thru delivery, we had no problems and everyone was very helpful. We support veteran owned businesses and thank them for their sacrifice! If you want an adjustable be, this is the place to go. We liked it so much that we ordered a second one and had it delivered to our brother. These items ship directly to you with excellent persons to come in and set up for you. They supply very good follow up and directions on how to operate.

We were undecided about an adjustable bed and Tim answered all of our questions. He made recommendations based on needs. We placed the order by phone and the shipping was seamless. Everything arrived in NC In perfect condition. We are very satisfied with the bed and it’s performance. I bought an adjustable frame and air mattress both delivered as promised. Paid extra to have the frame setup, well worth the extra money. I chose to setup mattress myself, a little bit difficult for me, that’s why the 4 stars. But overall very pleased.
