Founded by 10 teachers and not 1 notary inside the bank/credit union. When i asked about it, they said the notary was off today. When I asked what day would they return, I got the runaround and no date. Then an older female teller started yelling she used to be a notary, but not anymore, which did little to help my plight. Sorry excuse for a bank!! Black founded or otherwise. Terrible service altogether

This so called credit union failed me when I needed them the most in 2020. I couldn't work during the pandemic and they closed my account for an alleged negative balance of $69.00. They didn't even try to call me. So when unemployment deposited my money, this so called credit union sent it back to VEC. Years later and I'm still to get my unemployment money. Horrible service no understanding at all. It's supposed to be a "black" credit union. All they see is green. They care nothing about you.

Extremely disappointed with this "credit union" no one ever answers the phone when you call....if there is an answer they pass you on to the next person who can't or refuses to help you....I was on hold for over 10 minutes, the person was surprised the lady who she passed me to didn't answer my call, and then came back and said "I didn't know she was at lunch"......my account was debited twice in their error , and there is still no resolve, so what im going to do is end my "relationship" with this "credit union"....highly disappointed with the unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability by the staff....do yourself a favor and do your banking elsewhere.....DO NOT bank with this "credit union".

I have had this account for several years and have had excellent experiences and service. I was referred to the bank by an Administrator and former Asst. Superintendent of Schools who shared how Heritage helped them when they first started as an educator, & opened up financial opportunities to them. I have had the same business experience & would recommend to any educator or their family member. They are loan friendly - not fee heavy - which I like, and always open to my needs.

Everytime I have a request , I always have to wait. There's always an excuse from Randy Cooper. Nobody ever answers the phone. The female cashier there is very professional but she can't do everything!

I hate this bank so much they never answer the phone then the phone hang straight up when you call in order to put money on my card have to go all the way to Southside then the bank card that I have won’t let me check my Blance I have to call the bank

This company is very unprofessional, inconsistent, and irresponsible. I won’t be referring absolutely no-one else to this unprofessional organization. Mr Cooper needs to resign.

My card expired and I had to activate the new one sent. Tried card services and was told to contact member service which I did and the Lady I spoke with directed me on how to go about it which I did and was told it will be ready to use in 3hrs. After 3hrs tried paying stuff online and was told card details are invalid called again and spoke to Joseph who was new and passed me to the lady I spoke with earlier in the day. She left me on the phone holding on and clocked out without resolving the issue and no courtesy to say I can't fix it and I need to go home since it's 4.40pm call tomorrow.

Thought someone might find this information useful, Don't be tempted or carried away by the many testimonies you read online.This was how i fall into the hands of scammers, Test everyone who claims to be a trader before investing. I invested with MRS ARIELLA CRYPTO, got profits and was able to withdraw. You too can test how her works and see for yourself.
