Came from rite aid on corner of east broad and Belvedere and was met with the rudest salesperson ever. First I bought a card, and when she put it in the bag, she grabbed it so carelessly it started to wrinkle up. Then she had the nastiest attitude every time I had a question. She was soooo rude and I’ve always had the nicest people helping me there. I wrote this review as soon as I left, she was nasty.

I’m generally happy with the Rite Aid and will continue shopping.
Perfectly happy? That’s impossible even for God. Just do a good job.

Terrible place, do not get anything from here.
Every time I go thinking it will be better than last time, I am wrong. The service is awful, the prices are ridiculous, and the whole experience is frustrating. Nothing ever improves, and it's just a waste of time and money. Everything at Rite Aid is horrible, everything.

I went to pick up my prescription, and they lied to me, saying that with my insurance, the price was $58. Later, I found out that my insurance doesn't even work at this pharmacy, but they never told me that! Instead, they just tried to overcharge me without giving me the actual facts. As a broke student, I can't afford to throw money away like this. If they had just been honest upfront, I could have gone somewhere else and used my insurance properly. Completely untrustworthy-avoid this place!

The pharmacy provides awful customer service. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Takes hours to fill prescriptions and then send notification that its ready 13 minutes before closing. Let phones ring for minutes before finally answering to advise will not wait extra 2 minutes it will take for me to speed over there to pick up pain meds.

The pharmacist were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. i waited over an hour for them to call my name which they never did. when i finally went up there and tried to explain what happened i was cut off and dismissed. when i finally received my medication I heard one of the pharmacist make a rude comment about me. It was an over all terrible experience and i have not been back since and would not recommend this rite aid to anyone

We are so pleased to have this pharmarcy in our new downtown Richmond neighborhood. They provide excellent, professional service.
The entire store is clean and orderly and everyone was so friendly and helpful.

The bad reviews surprise me. I get excellent service here and the prices are also great. Compared to Walgreens, this place is 5 star!

I have been working with pharmacists regularly over 20 years of my practice. They all practice certain level of courtesy and professionalism when communicating with professionals. The pharmacist that I talked to in this pharmacy is an exception. He is rude, angry , and unprofessional. I left a clear voice mail with my name spelled slowly letter by letter. He did not listen carefully, confronted me rude, and almost yelling at me that I did not mention my name properly. While I was giving the details, he hardly paid attention, and did not even let me finish spelling my name and NPI number. He probably had all the details in the system and just wanted to confront me. Someone like this will not stand a chance in CVS even one day. I am not sure how Rite Aid has such a low standards for their pharmacists.

The worst pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is so rude. Not helpful! I waited over 5 hours and called to get an estimate on when they would be ready. I'm in pain and need the pills. He just repeats a few times "you'll get a text when they're ready" and hangs up lol. I understand being busy but no time frame on when the prescription will be ready?! I've never had to wait this long and suffer in pain after I went to the emergency room. I will never use this pharmacy again and I recommend you not to as well.

I’ve been on the phone for hours just trying to get the status of my prescription. It’s 8:02pm and the pharmacy closes at 9pm. I need my medication. It shouldn’t take this long. Absolutely ridiculous.

So, I only got as far as the phone; on an industrial strength hold, when I decide to read some reviews. And I get other’s frustrations. I sat on hold for hours because the GoodRx coupon offers Farxiga at half the price at 1/2 the cost at Wegmans, my regular pharmacy. I thought about going downtown to the pharmacy - but after holding so long and reading the reviews - I decided that I would just pay the higher price at Wegman’s, where folk answer the phone and are attentive especially since I pay out of pocket. Please, put this store location out of its misery before your reputation is completely ruined. JFFS, that was an extra $190 out my pocket… no small hit!

Worest pharmacy ever! They made me wait for so long to get my prescription, and then it wasn't everything needed without even letting me know. I just got Covid positive today , I don't have my medications now and have a hard time breathing rn. I have to go out again tomorrow ( second day quarantine) to get the rest of my medications needed. Worest place/ employees. Don't go there! Or double-check and don't trust them!
