I'm hard for me to comprehend that the other reviewers go the same pharmacy we do! The Rite Aid on New Market has always been good to us and we have been using them for the past eight years. The head Pharmacist 'B' has always provided us sound advice and even hand mixed an elixir for poison ivy for us one summer. It astounds me that others have had a seemingly near opposite experience as us.

I haven't really had any of these problems and I've been going there for years. I use cvs usually but when they are slammed, i go here. It's always ok to me

My Partner went to pick up my prescription this weekend and was met by attitude and incompetence. The pharmacist was condescending and rude, and did his best to simply get rid of her. With all the pharmacists that are available, this is the best you can do?

Needed to get a prescription refilled call 3 days in advance before medication ran out..1st time the Pharmacist who was a lady told me a lie about my refill and that I had to call my doctor. My physician had no idea what this Pharmacist was talking about and told me to try again and if they did not get it together he was going to transfer my prescriptions to another location. Call the second day, talked to a male Pharmacist he stated that he does not know how to bill it so I need to call my insurance and have them call to Rite-Aid..told him that my wife has already taken care of this and all they need is a call from the pharmacy and they could walk them through the billing process. He told me to call them back he is busy.. What????? This is Medication???? Called back to the Pharmacy and a young lady picked up, I explained the situation again and her response," Well I am a busy right now, there are only two people here today, I will get to it when I can I have a lot to do so when I get to it I will call." WTF???? Told my doctor and we immediately transferred my prescriptions to Walgreen's on Laburnum. Rite Aid was 5 minutes from my home now I have to drive 14 minutes, but if that is what I have to do to get good service...so be it! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!

Please save yourself the headache of dealing with this Rite Aid and if you have to use this store make sure you check your medication (type and number) before you leave the store. I have been given the type 2 diabetes medication and I don't have type 2 diabetes, I could have had very serious problems had I not checked this medication before taking it. I have been given 3 different types generic (manufactures) medications in the same bottle because the people that work here do not know how to order inventory correctly. Make sure you count your pills because no one that works here seems to be able to count either, I have a prescription for 30 pills and they only gave me 25. If I could give no stars I would.
