“JCC has the best workout facilities anywhere around for those of us who aren’t young or super fit and don’t like loud music. I love that there are people there of all ages and fitness levels. They have a huge selection of weights (machines and free weights) in the weight room and a large selection of cardio equipment (treadmills, rowing machines, stair masters, stationary bicycles, regular ellipticals, lateral ellipticals). I’ve almost never had to wait for a weight machine and never had to wait for a cardio machine. There’s also an area for stretching and floor work. I’ve never felt as comfortable in a gym as I do at JCC. I’ve also enjoyed their yoga and pickle ball classes.”
“We had our infant here and she was so well cared for! Ashley knows every kid who walks in (or carried in) through that door. It's so convenient to have sheets, diapers, wipes and food provided, but the biggest blessing is the love that is poured out into the children. Highly recommend!”

“I have 3 children ( toddler to school age) all attended Brees Playhouse along with my niece and nephew. My 3 year old is still enrolled and he absolutely loves it! He has excelled in his speech and they have even given him the push he needed in potty training. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for affordable childcare!”

“KinderCare has been such a blessing for our son especially who has some special needs and requires extra support sometimes. The teachers and directors have been wonderful to our little ones. I have never had any issues with any of the staff. They are welcoming, kind, patient and very involved with the kiddos. My kids are happy at KinderCare and it is obvious that they are well cared for in our absence.”
“My experience here was great, you could rest assure that your child would be kept safe and cared for! I would/still recommend CCN. Not only did I work here, but my daughter also attended. She made some friends, and still this day talks about her teacher, Ms. Dominique, and Mrs. Sara! Mrs. Denise is a great Director and so is her assistant Ms. Lauren.”

“My kids have been going to Skipwith for nearly a year and after 2 daycare switches, we couldn’t be happier here! The management, the teachers, the facility, the curriculum, time spend playing outdoors, and food is all excellent!
Most importantly though, the overall feeling you get from walking in the door somehow feels calm, bright and happy and it is clear that my kids feel this too!”

“BAPP is an amazing school. It is a place where kids get to be kids in all the best ways. My eldest went there and my youngest is in her last year. It truly is/was a safe space for my children and myself. I am going to miss it once my youngest is done.They do a great job of setting the children up for independence. My sister, who was a kindergarten aide, said that when my eldest was 4 she was already well ahead of many kids she saw coming into kindergarten every year. She was able to handle herself, use thing like scissors and other implements, and basically be very responsible for herself. She did amazing in kindergarten and I have BAPP to thank for that.”
“Our son has grown so much socially and academically during his time at Bright Horizons Henrico! His teachers are wonderful and compassionate and the leadership at the school is incredibly strong. We have always felt safe with him there, which is saying a lot during the era of covid. Their flexible scheduling is incredibly convenient and I often marvel that everyone on staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciate how conscientious everyone is about allergies and food sensitivities. Speaking of food... sometimes I look at the kids' menus for the week and wish that they could cater my meals, too! By comparison to other local saycares, the price to attend here is pretty steep, but you are getting a lot for your money. That includes peace of mind, which to me, is priceless.”

“This center truly cares! We’ve been attending since December 2024, when my son was just a year old, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how dedicated and loving the staff is.
Ms. Erica, the director, is incredible. She’s involved, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting both the staff and families. She knows every child by name and somehow manages to be everywhere at once. Ms. Inez is also sooo amazing at supporting the kids and teachers. Idk when they sleep?
The infant team, including Ms. Manu, created such a warm, comforting environment in those early days. They helped my son feel safe and cared for right away, and it made a big difference in his confidence (he was home with me for a year). Ms. Manu and her team are the point for drop offs in the am...and they are so sweet .
For the toddlers/in between, Ms. Tammy and her team are phenomenal. You can tell how much she cares about kids! Ms. Tammy was so instrumental to get our kid used to daycare/playing with others. We love her so much! We just got upgraded to the older toddler room and im sure the teachers will be just as great.
As an anxious parent, I’ve felt completely supported from day one. This place goes beyond just childcare and I couldnt recommend this more. Everyone I've talked to really cares.
My only minus is that sometimes the teachers pull the diaper too tight when they change”
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bundle of Joy Lakeside and the incredible care they provide for my twin daughters. From the moment we walked in, we felt an immediate sense of calm, cleanliness, and warmth. Ms. Olivia, Ms. Jeanette, and Ms. Nika have created such a nurturing environment where children are not only cared for but truly loved. My girls have flourished under their gentle guidance, and it brings me so much comfort knowing they are in such capable hands every day.
The teachers foster a calm and structured atmosphere, filled with enriching activities and opportunities for the kids to learn and explore in such thoughtful ways. What stands out the most is the compassion they show — every hug, every word of encouragement, every smile is genuine, and it’s clear they care deeply about each child’s well-being.
The administration is equally as wonderful — always supportive, timely, and incredibly responsive. Any question or concern I’ve had has been addressed promptly and with the utmost professionalism. It’s such a relief as a parent to know that my daughters are in a place where both the care and the communication are top-notch.

“My experience at Tuckaway Variana has been very pleasant all of the teachers and staff speak, they are very family oriented and very professional. I can honestly say I have never felt that my children were in great care besides when they are with me :) and another thing that I love is that they have a app that is in each room the teachers Keep track on what your child is doing throughout the day. You can monitor how many times they use the restroom, what they eat how much they ate, what they did throughout the day and etc. but I love Tuckaway, THANK YOU GUYS!!! ?❤️✨”
