A young woman, who is a dear friend of mine, was berated by a male employee for where she parked. She parked at a pump, because the only available spot was a handicapped spot, or somewhere in the back, dark parking lot. The employee told her not to park there because some of the pumps were broken. That's a shell problem, not my friends problem. And this male employee seems completely ignorant to the fact that a young woman would need to park in a more lit up, closer spot, for her safety. This employee needs to be coached on safety protocols, they should take priority to whatever your policy is for parking. She wasn't breaking any laws and also at the time of her patronage, the store was not even busy. This is ridiculous. In this day and age, I would think Shell would be more proactive about women's and customer safety. Please follow up with my friend, she left a review as well. Thank you. This happened at the shell on jahnke Rd in Richmond Virginia

It was a busy night, and lots of cars in the parking lot and at the pumps so I pulled up at a empty pump to get something from the store since I didn’t want to park in the handicap spots up front. I go inside, and the cashier proceeded to ask me if I was getting gas, after I said no, he told me to not park at the gas pumps since he had only 4 working since people been fighting over them.
I did not have someone in front or behind me so it was the only free spot to park up front. I am a very petite woman and didn’t feel comfortable parking on the side or in the back where it’s dark. This isn’t the best area!
Grow a pair and stop hounding your customers on where not to park at night time! Jerk offs!
I come here every day almost and they just lost my business! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Half the card readers don't work. Terrible layout that causes gridlock. Slow pumps.

since I have to give at least 1 star to post. I will start off by saying this...yes my fault for trusting an establishment. unknown to me...when you pay for gas with a debit or credit card you are charged an extra $0.10 a gallon...now while it doesn't seem like much it's a lot over time. when i said something to the attendant thinking something was wrong he said yeah it's extra because you paid with a card. I'm like when do you tell your customers this?! he said well it's a sign on the pump..but I paid inside with you not at the pump & you said nothing to this effect not once. he replies with well what you want me to do...post a sign or something...yeah if you not going to say something to your customers you clown!

Dropped my wallet at this gas station. Wanted to thank the employee that found it for me. Tried to give them money to show my appreciation, and they would not take. It. Thank you so much.

Gas prices consistently $.15-.20 higher than other stations in the city. I'd love to support a very local business but this sort of markup seems to be taking advantage of Jahnke residents having almost no other option for gas.
