The best Asian market I've found in the southeast Richmond Area. They have fish and other meats, but they don't look that fresh. The only meat I buy from them is pork belly (which is fresh). Great place to buy vegetables, seasonings, condiments, and other Asian cooking needs.

The international Asian options were good. Just not the service. Even if you can not speak English, it's still easy to look in your customers' faces, smile and nod. Others do it all the time, but not here. They speak and smile with eachother just not with English speaking customers. I will not return just because of that.

The parking was easy. They have a good selection of Asian produce. Although I didn't find what I wished to find, I found a rare reminder of my childhood memory, potato leaves. The market was pretty big. They have a lot in the store. The only thing I wished to improve would be the smell.

Nice little Asian market called Tan A Supermarket. It's really crowded inside. I had trouble maneuver and trying to avoid bump into something.

Still on the hunt for my local asian mart since moving to Richmond. This place is a bit small but slot of variety I was able to find my gunpowder green tea and some sauces and herbs. But the pricing is high, which is becoming the trend everywhere I guess. They do have some unique stuff in the plates and pans section tho. Last was cool in front but fyi: minimum ten dolla purchase for card use

Wish this place were closer to me. They stock so many products that I've not seen at other Asian grocers I've shopped at. The photo and videos are examples. Both the Calamansi lemon extract and the Dasavi lemon chili sauce have been yummy additions to my ramen noodle lunches. I'm saving the canned veggie mixes for wintertime stir fry or soup dishes. (And thinking about that now has my stomach growling. lol)

It was ok place to shop at Tan A Supermarket 新亞超級市場 as for quick grab. I was driving from Ashland to nearest Asian grocery store right after the Tropical Storm 16 passed. My friend told me he couldn't find papaya. I swore Asian markets sell them. So, here we are. And we arrived near their closing time. They gave us plenty of hints as that was it. I saw papaya and sesame paste desserts 芝麻糊 I want to buy. Quickly walking around, I stumbled upon stuff on the floor. Narrow aisles are dangerous for clumsy people like me. I don't think I want to shop here, or maybe just to the door to grab something quick.

Small store with so many variety. Check the frozen section for a specific frozen products that you might not be able to find at other stores (herbs, fish, ice-cream, and etc.) Overall, they have food, tea, and snacks that other stores may not have. Deducting one star because I feel like they should expand their store and make the aisles bigger. Customer service is okay. It’s the same as where you would find at other Asian grocery stores. Check your expiration dates! 3.8/5 for me.

We love this place. One thing we would really change is adding a little more space for accessibility because my little guy really can’t get through all of the isles with his wheelchair and that can be a little sad. Exploring all of the different foods making new recipes, eating more healthy, trying some things from cultures we haven’t tried before is all really good for us. We love that this is local to us and we can, do new things and be adventurous without having to travel! We are not just getting the traditional spices, but really trying new bold things as well which is really fun. The staff there are fun and the produce is amazing.

This is a nice little Asian grocery store. It has a pretty good selection of fresh vegetables, but it has some spectacular fish and seafood. Lots of household goods as well. I enjoy browsing and trying new things. They always have bargains and stuff on sale.

It's a fairly large store but difficult to get around the aisles because of items on the floor. They do have a variety of Asian food fresh fish in the back of the store.

I honestly would not go back. I got some rice cakes from them and they were five months expired!!! And they would not take it back. The service is terrible as well Everyone in the store is rude and if you ask, or some thing is they don't really tell you years ago when I first started going It was a great store, but as the years went on, it has become terrible and truthfully, I do not want to go back to that store they are selling expired food and they do not care whatsoever. They also have shrimp and stuff just sitting out not on ice or anything. The place is disgusting do not go.

I was able to find what I needed. The staff helped me find my favorite sugared ginger slices. They have a wide variety of dried mushrooms, including shitake, oyster and Tremella. They also carry hard to find bitter gourd tea.

I come here almost weekly because I like their items selection. It takes more than one hour roundtrip but it’s all worth it. Until recently, my bf and I visited here an hour before store close. They were already sanitizing the floor and restricting customers to come in. Fortunately, we got in and spent a little time to gather everything we need. During checkout, their register had unstable internet connection. We had no luck after a few attempts so given up on the merchandise was the only option. There were a bunch of staffs hangout at the register but none were trying to contact their service provider. Instead of hearing any apologies about not being able to checkout, we heard an lady staff from the other register bad-mouth about us in Cantonese.
