The Broadberry is a music venue that opened in April 2014, bringing great local, national, and international bands to Richmond. It is a really nice, small, and intimate venue, not a huge place. The stage is intimate and the acoustics are very good, with sound that is mixed well and not too harsh. The venue is inviting, safe, and clean. The space has a large bar area with a nice selection of liquors and beers, a limited food menu that is good, and some VIP tables. Seating is limited, with a VIP section and a few seats at the bar. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and super friendly. The entire venue and restrooms are clean, accessible, and were cleaner than expected. The venue is totally accessible, with helpful ADA protocols and a reserved section near the front. Shows are All Ages. Doors usually open at 7pm for events, though hours vary. There is limited free parking in a small lot, and free street parking nearby in a neighborhood that felt safe. The venue is also available to rent for private parties, weddings, and receptions. Been here twice since I moved to Richmond and it's been nothing short of great. Chill staff good vibes and comfortable environment. Love I, can't wait to come back

Nice place to see a band! Intimate stage. Inviting, safe, and clean! The sound was mixed well. Not too harsh. Would see a band there again. We found street parking nearby. Neighborhood felt safe.
