If I could give them negative stars I would. They completely lied about the weight of some material coming to me and have been avoiding fixing the issue. I'll break it down and since I see TForce act like they don't get supporting, include it under this bad review.
I had 210 clevis pins sent to me via UPS LTL choices. We were quoted $292.56, and the quote number was even included on the original bill of lading. The material we received was raw material in which we ourselves turn to the customers design. The code is 50. Each pin weighs between .115 ounces .125, which is about a 3 of a quarter pound. That means the pins themselves weighed around 158 pounds. The pallet weighed about 18 pounds as it was very small. The cardboard box weighed about 3 pounds.
TForce claimed they inspected the box and it was I guess liquid or something so it was a class 60 and that it weighed 275 pounds. This is extremely incorrect. They then changed the price to $1706.10. So they went from $292.56 to $1706.10 based on a lie. This is extremely predatory towards a small business. Shame. I sent them supporting documents and even a material sheet and print and they still have not reconciled the situation. At this point it feels predatory and like they are trying to extort our small business out of over 1000 dollars. Because of this I'm left to report this issue to the BBB and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. I'm leaving this review in hopes no one has to go through this blatant criminal behavior.
I also included the email from the shipper and the packing slip. All they had to do was be honest and they would have easily made what they are try to extort from us in business in the future. It is pathetic to have to stoop to extortion of small businesses here in America, which is supposed to be the land of opportunity.

On October 7, 2024 I received a shipment of goods that I purchased. Prior to receiving the shipment I was told that I would receive a COD for the freight and that they would collect that amount when they delivered my goods. On 10/7/24 I received the shipment and helped the driver offload the 3 small boxes from the truck. I signed for the delivery and was given a Bill of Lading with a COD amount of $672.64. I wrote a check for that amount (check number 2573) and gave it to the driver. On 10/24/24 I received an email from TForce freight with an invoice attached for the amount of $747.64. I immediately contacted their customer service department regarding the discrepancy and was told that my check had not been received yet. I inquired as to the incorrect amount on the invoice and was told that TForce freight had added a lift gate service charge to the invoice for $75.00. I informed the customer service representative that I did not use this service and also that I had paid for the entire COD that was given to me. He asked me to send PROOF that I had paid the COD amount and to email them a copy of the Bill of Lading. I emailed that information and proof on 10/24/24. I was told it would be taken care of. I received an email on 10/25 that my payment hadn't been posted yet to the account. Aside from that I received no additional emails or follow-up regarding this original request to have the charges removed. On 12/23/24 I received an invoice again from TForce freight and AGAIN I called customer service and emailed proof that the COD had been paid. On 1/2/25 I received another invoice, now for $75.00. I again called TForce and spoke with David Pertuz from the collections department on 1/2/25 and was told that after reviewing all the notes in the system that he understood that I was charged incorrectly for a service that was not provided and that he would put in a request to have the charge removed and to please allow 3-5 days for that to process. On 1/6/25 I received a threatening email from TForce collections that they wanted immediate payment to avoid escalation. I ignored this email, as it had not been the 3-5 business days yet that Mr. Pertuz had stated it would take to rectify the error. On 1/20/25 at 2:09 am, I received another threating email that they were sending me to collections. I had to wait to call during normal business hours, but I sent an email at 8:04 am to notify TForce Freight AGAIN that this charge should of been removed from my account. I called later in the day on 1/20/25 and spoke with Mariana and she told me that she would put in ANOTHER request to remove the charge and that I should call back in 24 hours. I called today 1/21/25 and still nothing had been done to the account. Today I spoke with Mark in customer service and he promised to get the charge taken off of the account. I actually recorded the conversation today with Mark, so I have proof in case this isn't taken care of yet again. I really don't care about the $75.00. The exorbitant amount of time it has taken me away from my business to deal with TForce Freight's incompetence is immeasurable at this point. This fraudulent behavior from TForce Freight should not go unnoticed and they should be reprimanded for their unethical business practices. I would like this charge removed from my account immediately and a paid in full receipt sent to me.

Don't expect on time delivery. Every shipment was delayed more than 3days. Wasting money !! Use better shipping company than Tforce although it is more expensive than Tforce. That will save a lot of money.

Do not use this company. Use RL Carriers or another shipper. They provide very inadequate service and lie. Beware!

As a recent former employer there's not much to say, I have no idea about this new company and the new management that has replaced UPS Freight. They came in like a wrecking ball implementing changes from the front door to the back door within the first month. I have a chemical background so going back to tankers wsa no big deal. 2 years from now the contract division is going to be non-existent and obsolete..

Avoid this company at all costs. Lost commercial packages (LTL sized ones) are a normal occurrence for this company. Their online tracking system is there to hide this fact.

Horrible and dangerous driving on the road on i95 at 6:38am 03/29/2024 is cutting people off and is holding the left lane next to a truck on the right lane and is going slow slowing up the left lane. Stupidity!

This Driver, totally reckless, speeding in excess of 75 mph in a well posted 45 mph construction zone with workers present. The driver is hauling corrosive loads which clearly states on the trailer. The driver maintained said speed barreling in the left lane. Recorded 3 minutes of footage which will be posted on reckless truckers dot com.

Awful experience for trade shows. You have to double-ensure they book your shipping correctly, or your shipments will likely not be picked up as you set it up with their sales team.

Zero stars. Would be negative stars if possible. Paid COD shipment Dec. 13th for delivery of 3 freight pallets on Dec. 14th. Shipment been held in limbo PAST Christmas, supposedly 31 miles from me. Now December 28th and no sign of delivery coming. No accountability for tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.Good luck getting through to anyone; someone mildly competent may have gotten back to us after two weeks of distal corporate Customer Service and the terminal not communicating. The terminal's Dispatch phone extension was broken and even Corporate couldn't give a direct line.

I cancelled pick up of a shipment coming to me 3 days before it was scheduled because I was never contacted about finishing set up of my business account, shipping rates, or even delivery dates. THEY PICKED IT UP ANYWAY! I was GIVEN a delivery date that was much later than what I needed and they are doing everything in their power to make sure I don't get it any earlier. It's been sitting 3 hours away for 3 days now. This company seems perfectly content with shady tactics that ensure that you pay as much money as possible for your shipment even if that means taking the opportunity to pick something up that was cancelled without all the necessary information being confirmed. The company I had it being picked up from had no idea, because why would I think I would need to notify them? I never saw a BOL or anything. NOTHING. Also, if you call customer service, you'll just get passed around until the only way to keep your sanity is to hang up. Go elsewhere.

I’ve seen ice cream trucks that have more consistent schedules. Good luck setting up any type of scheduled delivery with these people. They constantly miss them. Think you’ll call and get any type of good answers from them? No, staff is completely clueless, disrespectful, and downright unhelpful.

RUN! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Shipments arrive so damaged you end up having to refund the entire order. Deliveries and pickups NEVER happen as scheduled. There are always a million excuses when you finally get someone on the phone. Drivers just decide to not show up for a scheduled pickup. DISPATCH IS A JOKE they allow you to schedule pickups for days that they knowingly are not available in your area and then proceed to tell you that they only service your area certain days of the week! Are you kidding me? Why schedule it or have it as an available day/time if you know you don't have drivers in the area on that day. Don't even get me started with the process of filing a claim. Documents must be mailed, pictures must be sent separately, the review can take up to 30 days....the list goes on and on. Do yourself and your business a huge favor and boycott them at all costs. I will gladly pay triple the rate to never have to do business with this joke of a company again.
