“I’ve followed Gilbert for a long time as a skateboarder. I’ve always wanted to visit him and his mom’s store and finally got the chance to! My partner and I stopped through on a road trip and she bought me a cee blues sweat shirt and she got a really cool old print of a hawk. The sweat shirt is very nice quality and thick material. Gilbert’s mom was super nice and helpful. The store is thoughtfully laid out with a ton of great vintage finds as well as new custom stuff from Gilbert. 10/10!!”

“I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! I remember when I first came in here like 10 years ago I bought a cute tank top that I wore all the time. I bought my birthday dress here 2 years ago and it’s one of my favorite dresses. I got this amazing genuine lamb skin leather coat last winter that I found in their online shop and it’s seriously amazing, one of my most favorite pieces ever! I just recently bought an Ed Hardy bag that I am just in love with. I also got my boyfriend an awesome Seinfeld shirt for his birthday! I only really buy things that scream “buy me” and I love that they have an online shop so I can browse even from home. Picking up things has always been a breeze! Everyone who works here is also always so kind and sweet! I’ve also sold things to them a couple times in the past years and either got cash or store credit that I would use later at their shop for a special occasion. Thank you Rumors!”
“I went here for the first time yesterday to sell some shoes. Prior to this I’ve gone to Plato’s Closet multiple times. I must say, much MUCH better return on my items at Buffalo Exchange hands down. In addition, the service was absolutely amazing… everyone was so nice. Mind you, they were not able to accept all my items, but the reason I was given made complete sense and I was assured that they actually took the time to inspect my items before deciding not to accept them. This is now my “go to” place for selling all my clothes and shoes.”
“You shouldn’t be surprised when they don’t give you much cash for your items. This is a business, they make money from selling your clothes.
When you go out into the store and see good deals on clothing, that’s because they didn’t give the seller much.
If you have no luck selling your clothes at yard sales or online, just give this place a try. If you are trying to make a profit off some expensive name brand clothes, don’t expect much. That’s just how this business works.
4 stars because of the sheer amount of Shein in this place. Yes, buying second hand Shein is better than it going to a landfill. But at this point they could make an entire isle of just Shein clothes.”
