Privatize the postal industry and most of the problems will vanish within months. Oh and we won't have to come out of pocket as citizens because they will be profitable. This place sucks and packages are always late to all of Richmond and surrounding areas specifically the more rural areas where you wait literally 4 to 5 days for a package to leave Richmond and go to one of the local locations.

Terrible!!!!!! Passport site says 'No appointment necessary and gives hours of operation. Get there to find you NEED an appt no matter what it says on their website!Just try to call them.....mailbox full!This is an awful place!

The shipping kiosk is always broken! You can’t even get a receipt from the kiosk when you drop your package off after hours. I tried to use the kiosk twice this week and couldn’t. The kiosk doesn’t even allow you to even scan or weigh your packages!

It's a joke. What this city is allowing with these post offices is illegal. I've written our congresswoman, I've written to the city. If it doesn't involve giving the city money they honestly don't care. I'm just at a loss for words as to how the government isn't getting skinned for this.

Website said I needed an appointment for my passport. Made one for noon and got there 15 minutes early. They said they were behind, which is normal, but what upset me was that they started talking walk ins in between each appt time. Leaving those of us with appts getting out after those who just showed up and an hour after our appt time. They also had 0 system and relied on the honor system for who got here first. Honor appointments before walk ins.

Ordered a part from a local dealer which went to the Richmond Distribution Center Sanston VA. Tracking number shows it is at that center. It is stuck there. No one answers the phone. Lodged complaint twice with USPS. No resolution. Two weeks at Richmond. Out over $100.

Every time I see that a package of mine has hit this distribution center, by heart sinks. 12 packages of mine have gone through here and beach and every one of them were at least 2 days late because it was held up here. Even when they got there two days early. I understand it’s the holiday season but people don’t pay for priority mail obit to have it arrive the same time the cheaper one would. USPS needs to credit back the difference between all priority rates and ground rates.

My package has been indefinitely delayed ever since arriving at this facility. I gave myself so many extra days to account for delays, it was priority shipping that would be assured to arrive by a certain time because it was a gift. I opened a case that nobody got back in touch with me about. I apparently can’t just pick it up myself, according to them. They have ruined a special day and I have no idea if they even know where my package is or if I’ll ever receive it. It’s almost suspicious.

Rude employees. The middle eastern/Indian lady that sits in the corner talks to people ANY kind of way and has poor manners & customer service skills. I will start going to the Post Office closer to my job to avoid this nightmare of a building.
