“Had the best experience here. Samantha Habib DVM was amazing! My dog was attacked by another dog and had a pretty nasty deep wound on his face and arm. They got me in the same day that I called. They took care of my baby like he was theirs. The front desk was amazing as well. Will definitely refer people and be back!”

My dog is currently seeing Dr. Miller and she has been a wonderful resource in his care. She first found his cancer and made sure to help us quickly get in contact with a great oncologist. We are in a tight spot at the moment so we reached out to a good friend of my boyfriend ... and he got the ball rolling for us. We had to crowd fund ... but we got there! They helped us out as much as they could! We love them there! They saved our baby girl! ????”

They listened to my concerns and made sure to check every possibility. I really appreciated their willingness to take the time to explain how to apply ointment to my kittens eye. Any concerns I had for my kittens heath were alleviated.”
“Can't say enough good things about this office. Dr Jay went out of his way to help Rascal feel comfortable. After severe trauma from anesthesia 7 years ago, my cat typically is nightmare to take to an office. We had our first visit last December and all of the staff made a point to get down on the floor with him, engaging very gently. The staff were very encouraging to me to hold him for procedures and listened to my suggestions of what helps him cope well. As a result they got all the tests, labs, and exams they needed. We went back yesterday for sedated dental work and again it went incredibly smoothly. The tech offered to me to stay with him during the sedative injection and while it took effect, while properly preparing me for what I would observe if I chose to do so. She came back frequently to check both on him and me before then taking straight to the procedure table. Procedure went very well, he was back home within two hours of sedation, and by the evening was 100% back to his normal sassy self. Thank you colonial!
Update jan 2026- colonial continues to be amazing with both of our cats! I appreciate that everyone takes the time to hear me out and treat me like a partner in their care. The plan is always customized to their unique needs instead of a one size fits all approach”
“I highly recommend Capital Home Veterinary Care. The staff are all lovely. have a very reactive 13-year old, male husky-mix. Due to age and arthritis, I decided to try a home vet to reduce the anxiety and stress to both him and myself. The staff have been wonderful helping me set up the appointment for my pet. Capital Home Veterinary Care have been communicative through each step of the process. They are quick to respond to calls and emails. The vet visit itself could not have gone smoother. My pet was comfortable around the team who performed the examination. They answered all of my questions, I was able to get the supplements that my dog needs, and they send a summary email after the visit. I cannot thank this team enough for the peace that they brought to our vet visit.”

I’ve only been here once so far, but it was a pleasant experience. My dog was experiencing kennel cough after coming back from the kennel for the first time and it was my first time ever experiencing that as a pet owner. I was uncertain what was going on with her and it just kept getting worse. My usual vet was unable to take her in last minute, but Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital had an opening the very next day. The receptionist was helpful and kind while I was on the phone with her to book the appointment. The day of the appointment, we only had to wait for 5-10 minutes before they saw us. Dr. O'Niell was very understanding as I explained the situation and he checked her out and was able to confirm that it was kennel cough. We were able to leave that appointment with medication and since then, she has recovered! I’ll definitely look into bring my dog here for future appointments.”
“Highly recommend this veterinary. Dr. Sara de Wet is a phenomenal veterinarian! She is absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. Thankful to have her to take care of my pets. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Facility is always clean when we go. They work well to get my pets in if there is ever any emergencies. My rabbit needed emergency care and they got him in same day and took the best care of him. My cats have also needed time sensitive care and they were able to get us in very quickly with excellent care as well. I have full trust in the vet and staff to properly care for my babies. “I love Dr. Zuccaro (Dr. Mike is what I refer to him as, but he also goes by Dr. Z. LOL) and his entire team. I started going there a little over 15 years ago with my yellow lab, Harley. I recently had to put her down, and he was so kind and sweet. He remembered me bringing her in the first time and how they saved her life as a 7.6 lbs puppy. His clinic was the only one she ever visited, and I will continue to see only him and his team for all my future pet care needs. I highly recommend his clinic.”
