Did a great job on several pairs of boots for a reasonable price.

I took a purse in that needed screws to re-attach the handles. He had to search high and low to find the right size but didn’t give up. Once he found them, he repaired the purse quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely take items there again in the future.

Had to pre pay for the repair. He took several months to complete my simple repair. I lost my ticket, so he charged me again. The repair job was horrible. It was like he added duct tape or the inside of my sandals. Avoid this store.

I dropped off my suede sneakers to be cleaned and they sanded them down to be a weird patch-y leather-y texture and they are completely ruined. They were not remotely apologetic and also only take cash which is immensely annoying.

I dropped off my suede sneakers to be cleaned and they sanded them down to be a weird patch-y leather-y texture. The good news is it only cost me $40 to absolutely ruin my favorite pair of sneakers! They were not remotely apologetic and they only take cash. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

One stop shopping for vacuum cleaners, leather repair, and sewing machines...this guy does it all! Excellent workmanship. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Been walking past this shoe repair place for almost a decade, but never stopped in bc I didn't really have a need... or at least that's what I thought! I have already taken three pairs of my shoes to this wonderfu place and couldn't be happier! Not only is the work done well, but fast too! He completed TWO pairs of shoes that needed repaired and stretched, and in only a few hours. I highly recommend this shop and the kind gentleman that runs it.

Very helpful with my shoes. The zipper would not budge. He very kindly explained what could be done and what I can do at home if it becomes a problem again. Now they zip like a dream.

Village Shoe repair is the real deal. The owner really knows what he is doing when it comes to shoes. I wear very expensive shoes and this is the only place I take mine to be repaired or polished. He also fixed shoes I thought were done for. Very fairly priced for excellent work

Just used the Village Shoe Repair last week and they did a fantastic job on a broken pair of heels. Highly recommend and will be using them again!

I had 3 pairs of boots I needed to get fixed and dropped them off on Thursday February 10th. For two pairs, it was clear only one shoe (the right) needed to be fixed, but for the third pair I thought both would need to be fixed and the guy behind the counter said only one would need to be fixed, so I appreciated his candor. I didn't ask for a time frame because other reviews on here said he was quick, and he just said he would call me when they were ready, which was my biggest mistake. On Saturday February 19th, I called to ask when my shoes would be ready and read him my ticket number. He then had to ask me what work needed to be done to the shoes, so he clearly hadn't even started on them.He finally called me on Friday February 25 to tell me they were ready. I just picked them up and the work looks okay (though he only glued the front of my cowboy boot when he said he would glue the back too, but I didn't notice until I was already home), and he charged me around what he quoted ($60, two re-gluings and one broken screw) however, I was flustered by the fact that he ONLY takes cash or check-- neither of which I carry on me; luckily there was an ATM near his shop.I don't fault him for not taking credit cards, I should have asked before leaving my shoes with him. I am however, annoyed that it took more than 2 weeks to get my shoes repaired, when I watched him tell 3 other customers today that it only takes a few days.
