They said they were going to fill my cats seizure medication on 6/14/25 by 5pm, it is now 6/17/25 and they are still saying it’s not ready. They have been telling us for DAYS they are “working on it”. My cat is having seizures and I am so livid by this incompetence. It is your JOB to make sure everyone gets their meds when scheduled, this incompetence is so dangerous, you have people’s/pets lives in your hands!

I've been with this Walgreen's pharmacy for 15 yrs. The pharmacy department isn't like it use to be. Not opening because they don't have a pharmacist on duty, the app doesn't match the information the staff gives you over the phone, phone call waits can be over 30 minutes, etc. I'm contemplating transferring my meds to another pharmacy. Ridiculous!

It’s 10:08am, and they still aren’t open. The employee said there’s no tech here yet and they don’t have register access, and they also just told someone the drive through is “closed today” due to staffing. There’s are currently 9 people in line (inside the store), including myself, and yes - I got here before 10am, because I’ve been calling for days and no one answers the phone.
This isn’t a commentary on pharmacy employees because I’m sure they’re doing their best and they’re clearly way understaffed.
However, this location is absolutely abysmal. I have been trying to get my meds for over a week. My insurance changed, and I’ve updated it several times myself in the Walgreens computer system. I’ve tried calling at different times and have waited on hold for 30+ min (never been able to get through before getting disconnected). I also get random notifications on a regular basis that the pharmacy is just “closed” (no explanation given). So here I am on a Sunday morning, waiting in line just to *request* my refill because the computer system never works and no one answers the phone here. And that’s why I brought my book to read…let’s see how long this takes 🤪
Basically, if I weren’t dealing with a specific Rx that can only be picked up at this location, I would go literally anywhere else. The Walgreens over on Chamberlayne seems much more efficient, FYI…

I need you to update the Walgreens mobile app immediately. I placed an order, and a doctor called in a prescription on Friday, yet there has been no response regarding its processing in the app. For several days, I had no choice but to go in person to retrieve my medication. Furthermore, your phone lines are perpetually busy, and no one is answering at the pharmacy. This is unacceptable, and I expect prompt resolution.

Very rude staff I encountered today on 07/05. They don’t greet customers when u walk in and don’t acknowledge your presence while u wait for assistance at the photo dept. They stared at me while they talked amongst themselves clearly seeing I needed to be assisted. I’ll rather drive an extra few miles to another wal greens location due to this experience with staff who clearly don’t value their customers.

Really unfortunate that this is the most conveniently located pharmacy for me. The pharmacy staff are awful - rude, unhelpful, and so not listen or communicate well. It's like pulling teeth to try and get answers about insurance.

Kudos to Walgreens for their Walgreens Cash Reward Program! It gives you the opportunity to earn cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy and on Walgreens branded products; and some vitamins are buy 1, get 1 free. I especially like Walgreens at 3715 Mechanicsville Tpke. When I check out, Shelba is there to inform me of any rewards that I have earned. She is knowledgeable, informative, cheerful, patient, and clearly cares about providing the best customer service. An outstanding individual and a great location!!

Laziest pharmacists in the entire city. 30 mins after waiting for appointment they still did not have our vaccine ready.No one to answer questions or help. Everyone behind the counter is as working at a snails pace

Walgreens drive thru is the worst WHY do they let you sit there and wait on you prescription to be fill instead of telling the customer to drive around and get back in line or come back in 15 minutes so they can serve the next customer gas is high and the wait is ridiculous it really doesn’t make sense how long you have to wait when you’re prescription is already Ready smdh

pharmacy very poorly coordinated. too much walk back and forth to give vaccines and a lot of wasted time. baskets not set up for vaccines causing double work to be done. two vaccines given on 40 mins period this am. still waiting. wont return
