I typically do not write comments but today's experience was a bit much. The service here has drastically changed from the past. There appears to be no concern for customers' time -you are given mixed statements of what is/is not that creates continual back and forth wasted time. Today I have sat at the location waiting for over an hour to pick up a script for my Mom after going through all of the above. Could this be a contributor to patient medication adherence - many do not have an advocate - what about the downstream impact to the family and the provider? I started this journey today at 1:00 pm and it is now 3:50 pm.Time is a commodity that one cannot get back. Recognizing that the staff there are doing the best they can, something is missing. As I stated earlier, I typically do not write these but felt the need to advocate for this team, my family who loves Walgreens, Mom's provider, and myself.

Terrible service at the pharmacy. They never answer the phone. If you do get someone on the phone everything you said to them is forgotten. I went to pick up a prescription for my wife she had already told them we would pay out of pocket. I got there after she recieved a text saying it was ready. The script hadn't been filled at all because the insurance didn't cover it, this was there response even though they were previously told it would be paid for out of pocket.

The Pharmacy at this location needs a reorganisation. From prescriptions being filled at other locations which leads to extended delays to extremely long wait times at the drive thru to executive hours that are inconvenient for most if your family matters to youGO ELSEWHERE

Where I live we only have one pharmacy but the pharmacy was temporary closed due to no staff. I had my daughter doctor called in her ADHD medication to this location because I work around the corner. I was told the pharmacist said because the doctor is in Williamsburg and I live in New Kent I can not have her medicine picked up at this location again because of distance. Wow ? I explain because regular pharmacy was closed and she needed her meds but they will never have to worry about me or anyone I know ever coming back for NOTHING

Home for me was 100 miles away. I called in a prescription to this location using their less than adequate voice prompts (i.e. not a real person). Things seemed good until I arrived at the store. The pharmacy was closed with a sign that read, "Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed Sunday 7/16. They should have led with that per the voice commands instead of wasting peoples time driving to the physical location. The message went on to say for an emergency go to our Temie Lee Pkwy location. Which was only 26 miles away.....Fail.

Drive through is fast and friendly. This is a busy business and I try to be understanding when their is a wait. Today three cars ahead of me. I continue to have difficulty getting an inhaler that I use several times a day. This time I believe it was only a two day delay. It has been as much as three weeks.

I appreciated they had medication I needed as Walgreens near me didn’t . However, I drive. A distance by choice . I waited in drive Thru lane for 25 minutes. I was made to go back and wait again while they “reprocessed “ my medicine . Clerk didn’t know answer to my questions. Pharmacy assistant didn’t either and had I not asked multiple times , it Would have gone unaddressed and even the pharmacist didn’t knew the answer . I understand life is busy for us all but this is unacceptable and ridiculous. I’m a veteran Walgreens customer. Good luck . They also close at 7 I learned. Mine is open until 9 pm. Sorry . I don’t like sharing negativity but want to help others too. Hopefully, it as just a rough day there but after seeing other reviews , I’m concerned . Thanks

Do not go here if you take medication that must be taken everyday. The place tries to push scripts back that cant be missed. The particular location has now caused my script to be two weeks behind. I will be contacting a lawyer an reporting the head pharmacist to the appropriate authorities.

This pharmacy not the store part needs to close there doors! The are unhelpful and act is if they do not care for patients. They act is if they don't want to help anyone. I have been going in here for prescriptions for well over 2 years and they just get worse. If you ask them questions they all in the pharmacy act as if you are bothering them. They don't know what they are doing so far as insurance goes and all. The store part employees seem to be very well but as of the pharmacy goes they just must hire people in there for a paycheck only..would not recommend this place for pharmacy needs at all. I had not been going there for over 5 months because I had not needed to go to the doctor up there that's near by but unfortunately I had to go back to that doctor and that pharmacy is close by so I thought MAYBE things had changed..I was WRONG! Stay away and go to another pharmacy if possible..there is no reason for anyone to be there right at 2 hours for one prescription. Rant over!

Terrible Walgreens in Short Pump, VA. First of all pharmacists are unresponsive - questions go unanswered (they say they are too busy to consult with you about a prescription but I believe it is federal law that they do so) and they are always out of OTC items. I've given upon them and go to a Walgreens that is 2 miles away (vs 1/2 mile) and their pharmacists are great and their shelves are stocked. Also I do a lot of photo printing at Walgreens. Their website and their phone message say that you can pick up photos at the drive thru pharmacy if you call ahead. I called ahead to Short Pump and they refused to do so. I told them I have Covid (which is true...so does my husband) and I said I I did not think they would want me to come into the store with Covid. They said they had no problem with customers who had covid coming into the Short Pump store with covid and without masks. But they had terminated pick up at the drive thru and at the curb because Covid was no longer an issue and they were not concerned with customers transmitting covid to others in the store!!!I then called the Parham Rd Walgreens and they were shocked...they said they still followed the covid protocol of allowing you to pick up at drive thru or do curbside.

After waiting for 15 minutes in line for checkout, the clerk was an absolute rude person!!!! She wouldn't pull up my online coupon and just told me to deal with it.

Never thought I'd be writing a review about pinworm medication but there's a first for everything. Most every Walgreens I've been to has been good to excellent for their products and helpful folks. 10 minutes before close I was in there looking for pinworm meds for my kid. Not browsing, not shopping--it's one of those I need to get this and go the hell home. When I couldn't find it I asked the clerk at the register and she waved vaguely to the back and said she needed to get out of there. I went back and couldn't find it and saw in the app it was in stock. The manager closed the register right in front of me as I ran back to the counter with it. They couldn't walk out to just help me find it--you know, do their job. I bought in the app in front of them and they had to let me leave with the medication. I got what I needed but that's in spite of their gross behavior.
