The bakery cookies and donuts used to taste so much better than they do now. I noticed the change about a year ago. I've tried different types -- the little shortbread cookies, snicker doodles, Christmas cookies, and varieties of donuts. They all taste just blah. Please return to the ingredients you've used in the past. Even if customers have to pay a bit more -- it will be worth it!

I love this Walmart, but I am reviewing the bakery. I have gotten their fried chicken twice just to see if I got a bad batch the first time. Both times it was very overcooked. It's so dry, chewy and salty that I couldn't even eat it. I literally threw away an 8 piece twice. My mom couldn't even eat it and she is the least picky eater I've ever met. I also paid a king's ransom for their cooked ribs and they were equally dry and inedible. I've never had inedible ribs before.

Can this place get any worse? Well, I suppose so. Today the lady filling prescriptions was using her fingers to push the pills in the bottle she was filling for a prescription. Then, she waited on a customer and then went to fill another one. Gross.

This is the worst Kroger in Richmond. the employees are the absolute rudest people on earth. They refuse to bag your groceries and walk around aimlessly while watching the customers search for extra bags, which holds up the lines. When you do actually demand for service, which I have done almost every time since coming to this Kroger, they give you death stares and roll their eyes. My times have been damaged due to the workers annoyingly shoving things into my cart all because I've asked them to do their jobs. There's nobody ever around the floor to help locate items and, when restocking, they refuse to get out of the way for acceptable customer access. I wish I could have this place completely shutdown or completely re-employed. Seriously... this place is so awful.

This Kroger had probably the greatest sale I've ever seen. I have a very specific diet and cut sugar out, so I don't get a lot of variety. But one thing I love is Kroger Brand Natural Peanut Butter. Today, they put these magnificent jars of bliss on sale for a dollar a jar. Definitely a highlight of my day. The staff were also great and everything was well stocked

I was just shopping there with a friend of mine. There was a lady giving samples and my friemd wanted one but didnt knew any English and I asked the old lady If she could hand me a pieces of a muffen for him. She looked at me up and down saying that she didn't understand me because I was speaking in another language and I was speaking English. Then she started to say to speak English even tho I was speaking English to her and asking if I knew English and I yes I do but proceed to say I don't understand you. I felt very uncomfortable and uneasy. I never come back to this Kroger again after today.

If you need to cash in lottery tickets, do not go here! Was told last week by someone in customer service "You need to come back when someone who knows how to do this is here." She made no attempt to call anyone else or ask for help from any other staff members. Just told me to come back. No thanks, I'll go to 7-11 across the street where they know what they are doing.

I'm so glad Kroger now carries Ukrops deli items, prepared foods and bakery goods. I'm pretty nostalgic about Ukrops, and it's nice to have a sliver of them still remaining in Richmond. I love the chicken salad, ham salad, quiche and chocolate bar cake. The Kroger pumpkin chocolate chip muffins tops are a staple in our home! We live close to Kroger, so if I have coupons (they give their customers a ton of coupons) I shop here to get some of my food items! Their gas incentive is great too!

Horrible! Three bananas in the entire bin and carts and carts of produce in the middle of the aisles still in boxes. No one at the meat counter. I finally gave up. No wonder it was empty at noon the Saturday before July 4! And no wonder I see the manager of the store shopping at Walmart!!

Ongoing problem that I'm experiencing at EVERY Kroger, they don't know how to keep their shelves stocked with common items. Stopped by for a few things and they are out of 2 of the 5 things on my list! Update 3/7/17 Stopped in for a few things and nothing is changed, store is still out of stock of several items on my list, including same items they were out of stock months ago! Poor stock management!!!

This Kroger satisfactorily meets the immediate needs for being nearby my home, but it is by far not my favorite Kroger store. Even after it recently underwent some sprucing up, so even of the product placement make no sense. Likewise, sometimes I go there for specific items and they are out or moved things around and I end up going to the Willow Lawn Kroger. There is obviously a ton of grocery competition in Richmond and you really need to be on top of your game to stay ahead. The gas points really are the #1 reason why I keep returning, and for this store the convenience, but if you are out of bananas or can't keep your shelves stocked with even some simple things. That being said, the pharmacy is awesome, everyone in the pharmacy is great, they are kind, patient, understanding, and professional. My insurance through my employer has made us use mail order but other family members still use Kroger pharmacy and I have been with them when going to pick up, they are great.

I recently switched over my presciption from Westbury Pharmacy and Kroger gave me $2 off per gallon for doing so. What a great deal! I filled up my tank for only $12!!!
