Yes, the location is not the best part of town, but the pharmacist is extremely friendly and helpful to me and really goes out of her way to try to help me. To me, that is the most important thing in choosing a pharmacy.

Wow I can't even begin to day how bad this pharmacy is. My doctor called in a specific brand of pill and 4 months worth of it. I came to pick it up and it was a different type and 1 month's worth. What the hell. I initially thought my doctor had called in the wrong thing so I called them to get clarification and was concerned when they found out the pharmacy didn't do as they called in. They said they called in the right prescription. I confronted the pharmacy and they pulled up my prescription and the look of realization dawned on them. They asked me to wait for 5 minutes and they would get the correct one for me. They ended up giving me 3 months worth of THE SAME INCORRECT BRAND. They assumed this one was okay and asked if I wanted that specific brand. I said yes and the doctor specified this brand only and no other brand. She then tried to make an excuse that there was a "manufacturer's error" for that brand so they didn't have it but they can order it now. What?? All in all, stay away from this pharmacy. I wouldnt be surprised if they disregarded a doctor's prescription for someone else and it ended up being detrimental to them. I will report them so they won't be able to potentially hurt someone else by disregarding the doctor's specific instructions. They have lost my business for good!

I HATE TO SHOP AT THIS STORE BECAUSE OF MANAGEMENT. I often stop at this Walgreens on Chamberlayne Avenue on my way in to work to pick-up paper towels, Lysol wipes and dish detergent for the office. It is in a bad location, where the homeless and pan-handlers hang out, therefore management treats everyone who visit this store as if they are someone trying to get over on them. I use coupons as a way of saving, however when I use coupons at this location, they limit my use. I had two coupons for two bottles of dish detergent and they told me I could only use one coupon. I also tried to purchase paper towels and had eight rolls, at first the cashier was ringing us my purchase and was okay with it until she discovered the paper towels were on sale for 92 cents each. I was told she had to call the manager to get approval. The manager told me there was a limit and I could only purchase 4 rolls. I told him I did not see a sign regarding the limit and he told me there is no sign but he had the right to limit me if he so choose to. There was a young lady in line and she overheard the conversation and said I will pay for four rolls for you and you pay for the other four and this will solve everything and that's what happened. The manager said okay, you can do that. I don't know why it is always a problem when shopping at this store. Management seems to label their customers. However, the customers are the ones that keeps this store in business. They really need to CLOSE THIS STORE, it's a hangout for drunks and homeless people begging for money all times of the day. You can hardly get in the store to shop without being confronted by the drunks. I guess the drunks are the real customer. I WILL NOT BE VISITING THIS STORE ANYMORE. TIRED OF BEING TREATED INDIFFERENT.

THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS! It is on my way home from work so I stop in for quick necessities. Twice I have been blatantly cut in line then intimidated while the staff turned a blind eye. The second time the guy got loud and threatened me stating loudly and repeatedly that he was going to beat the sh** out of me and that I had to leave the store eventually. This while his two friends posted up around me. The manager walked by and muttered something to the scared looking cashier before hiding behind a display to watch the impending beating. Had a cop not wandered in to do some shopping I would have gotten jumped and beaten by three men, one of whom cut me in line. The manager did not even go over to the cop to tell him what was going on.
