Green Ridge Recreation Center is a great facility with friendly and helpful staff. It is good for all ages and is very kid-friendly. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The swimming area is a major highlight, featuring a kiddie pool for ages 0-4, a three-foot area, a small lazy river, and a larger water slide that drops into three feet of water. The lifeguards are consistently attentive and watchful, providing a very reassuring presence. They are known to go the extra mile, offering encouragement like high-fives and using thoughtful methods, such as visual countdowns, to ensure all children, including those with autism, can safely enjoy the same experience. This inclusive and caring attitude from the staff makes the center feel top-notch. The gym is also excellent, with plenty of equipment including free weights, weight machines, and cardio machines. There is rarely a wait for equipment. It offers a great walking track as a nice alternative to treadmills, along with lots of group fitness classes. The center provides plenty of space for families to change and get ready. It is a place where visitors can have a great day, finding it neither too crowded nor too empty, allowing for both fun and social interaction. The overall experience is consistently positive, making it a beloved destination for recreation and fitness.
