I would really appreciate if some of this CO-OP would do a bit more research on the type of cooking oils they use and the long-term healthcare effects. That being said to that do offer options for people like myself that have a serious disdain for canola oil. This is not a concern unless your eating at the hotbar and I realize some people do not care or are not that particular. Some people do though and it is not at all healthy based on my opinion and extensive research. I hope they will consider this feedback and doing my best to be polite. They are very nice folks and good vibes”

“Years ago, we stopped on our way through Roanoke, and walked around the neighborhood getting falafel next door, and walking up to Too Many Books, a used book store. We also drove to Black Dog Antiques which wasn't far. I think this has been at least four years ago, 2019 or earlier.We had so much fun, that we plan to overnight in Roanoke so that we can revisit these shops. I'll get pictures this time, and update the review with some pictures.”

“Shopping at EarthFare is, for me, a true luxury, reserved for special needs or cravings throughout the year. It goes without saying that you can find fabulous produce, meats (wow!), and bakery items here, as well as a top-rated catering service. If I need to prepare a Vegan meal, this is where I head, as they endeavor to have a well-stocked vegetarian/vegan inventory of ingredients. If you are like me, shopping vegan is much like speaking Mandarin: I can't and I know very little about it! No worries shopping here, however, as a knowledgeable staff member is happy to help you find an item, OR stay with you through your entire ingedient list. (Everyone working here is super nice and helpful.)When beets are in season, I have to make a trip: 2 - 1lb beets cooked in the pressure cooker keep my blood oxygen happy for a week!If you have never been, do stop in and try something from their fresh juice bar to complement something else you pick out to try - pastries, sandwiches, soups, desserts, etc. will have you drooling in no time!”
