“Needed to get some fresh veggies for juicing and to make some ginger shots. Was in the area so made a quick stop. I used to live in the Grandin area but moved to Daleville 4 years ago. I sure miss the co op!! Kroger nor Food Lion can compare to the freshness, variety, and quality of the fruits and vegetables at the co op! Would love for the co op to open another store in Botetourt County. (Hint Hint) I really think it would do well with all of the growth, especially in the Daleville area.”
“This place is incredible good we just tried tandoori chicken with my friend Bilal it was amazing guys I will suggest to taste tandoori chicken at least once you won’t regret”
“I really appreciate how well-run this location is; they actually have enough cashiers to keep things moving! It’s clean and laid out exactly how you’d expect a Food Lion to be. Just a heads-up: because it sits in Roanoke City, they do charge the plastic bag tax. Remember to keep a few reusable bags in your trunk before you head in.”
“Great service.
I would give a 5 but I have a small face and narrow nose bridge. Frames available were petite women which I like, but limited selections of colors. The child frames were a perfect fit, but I didn't want "hello Kitty" on the frame.”
“Clean store nice staff. They still have the local none chain deal and I like that i shape here when ever I can as I would rather give them my money ey than a place like a big box store”
“This is a great place to get gas and munchies items. Right across is the main Kroger store for more abundant shopping if you need to. Also more shopping stores too. Great place.”
“This store is nice and clean, and they sell a lot of different foods. The aisles are plenty wide, so it's easy to get around. Sale prices are good, better than Kroger.”
“I go here mostly for gas fill ups. Usually very competitive pricing. Only issue is if you use debit card you pay 10 cent more per gallon at pump. A bummer there. Sometimes a short wait to get a lane available to fill up.”
“This little market had some food trucks parked nearby when I dropped in, as well as what looked like its own indoor restaurant. I just needed some produce, and they had a lot of what I was looking for. Particularly peppers, although I have to say the quality varied tremendously. Some bins looked like they'd been in the sun too long, while the hot peppers I did get looked fine and were quite ferocious. Cactus and avocado were well stocked, and fresh tortillas were available. The scope of this place is small, but it delivers what it says on the sign.”
“This is a tiny store packed full of just about anything you can think of. Mostly Mexican but some other specialties. The aisles are very narrow so everything will fit. Friendly, but mostly Spanish speakers here so don't expect a lot of attention in English. Fresh foods and kept well stocked. A bit pricey but that's the price to pay to keep a small business in the city open and have these items available at all.”
“Any store that plays Lynyrd Skynyrd on the store speakers while shopping is 5 Star all the way!!!! Thank you for making my day! I have the video of it playing but it won’t let me upload it ? but thank you!!! ? Cashier 0140… was very kind and had a good sense of humor too.”
“The cleanest and most organized Asian market I've been to. The price is also very reasonable, lots of items are even cheaper than on the Weee app, which is not the case at other Asian markets. I wish there were more fresh veggies products though. The owner is sweet and friendly.”
“Cashier was friendly but the register available had tape everywhere and the belt wasn't working so it seems kind of odd they would choose that register to do business on. But overall great experience.”
“Here at this supermarket, you’ll find prices across the entire spectrum—though personally, I end up spending less here than at other stores. Furthermore, they offer a vast variety of products—including items you simply won't find at other supermarkets. Aldi carries products from all over the world; sometimes you’ll find them, sometimes you won’t, as they are constantly rotating their merchandise.”
“The store was organized and easy to navigate as I was grocery shopping. The dairy department was especially clean and well stocked! The associate in dairy (Jayden) was hardworking and very kind.”
“We were looking for a specific item they didn't have in stock and the owner had it in the store in just a few days -- very friendly and helpful. Great variety of south Asian items and some southeast Asian.”
“Nice clean country store. Friendly employee. They have a short order counter where you can get a variety of menu items. They have a 2 hotdog with fries and a fountain drink for about $8.00. It's pretty good. They also sell a variety of groceries too. Have gas and diesel. Definitely worth a stop.”
“I made my first purchase from ShopFoodEx using the guest checkout. I ordered 5 jars of a wonderful Mt Olive Vidalia Bread and Butter Salad mix product that my local grocer no longer stocked. This item includes pickles, Vidalia onion strips, pepper strips, and carrot slices. I just LOVE this product!!The glass jars were well packed with bubble wrap around each jar. Those jars were put in a sturdy box with paper between the bubble wrapped jars and the outside of the box. This box was placed inside another sturdy box with a buffer of bubble wrap and paper between the two boxes. Both boxes were securely wrapped!Long story short, ShopFoodEx really packaged those 5 jars so securely that breaking them by the delivery company would be a challenge! Kudos to ShopFoodEx!! WONDERFUL Purchase Experience!!!”
“Always an excellent visit, exceptionally well maintained store, 360°! Smiling, positive, helpful, knowledgeable & friendly staff, especially Devonte, Mary & Chris! The food selections & high qualities are the standard for The Fresh Market! I look for one everywhere I go, even overseas -- just in case!”
“Standard gas station. The window washing units are clean and well stocked and have paper towels to wipe down my windows as I'm filling up gas. Nice to be able to use Kroger rewards. The only downside is the Kroger a few miles down the road is 10 cents or more cheaper by the gallon.”

“This place is very convenient, conveniently. Money orders, little produce, drinks lots n lots of drinks. Beer, milk, cheese, hotdogs,...a mini market if you will. Very convenient!!!”
“Little hole in the wall convenience store. Stopped in to try and find a bathroom. Owner was gracious enough to let me use theirs even though it's not public. Got a great chicken sandwich here too!”
“I love this place! They sell ALL of the items I need, like Mad Draggon wine, bubbles and stems and condemns of course! They even allow me to sell my a$$ out of their parking lot!!! It just doesn't get any better!!!”
“Lots of variety here for not typical items. There's a lot of more natural and healthy items. Also, less popular drinks, foods, snacks. Seems like a healthy alternatives kinda store. Well stocked!”
