I attended this beautiful church for many years. People are welcomed and Father Kevin always gives a great homily. I now live in Florida and I always try to attend Mass at St Andrews when I’m in Roanoke.

What a beautiful church with a magnificent atmosphere. We attended the Christmas Eve mass and it was so lovely. The music and sound inside transports you to a heavenly realm. This was our first time visiting and we were so glad we did.

I attended Mass twice at the Basilica of St. Andrew and it's a beautiful, reverent sanctuary in which to worship. The Homily was very well thought out and addressed the way in which the Gospel reading applied to the major events that were occuring in the world.Everyone was so warm & welcoming! I only wish that I lived in Roanoke so that I could go there on a regular basis!

We went on a Saturday and it was closed, but we did walk around the outside of the cathedral and it was beautiful.

Beautiful place & kind people BUT, I wish they preached GOD'S Word & His definitions of a Christian, instead of their own. SHOCKED to hear them state in their service that John 3:3 Christians were explicitly NOT welcome to take communion. Then they only did HALF of what Christ commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:25 (which all Christians are to do in remembrance of Christ).I pray that congregation reads the Word of God for themselves, and upholds it to a proper & higher authority, than what any person or man made organization states.

Beautiful church visited on Ash Wednesday while visiting in Roanoak. Quite a difference from the small mission church in my home town.

Got to view this beautiful building one day, right as a Father was locking up for the evening. He was very kind to show us the inside, and shared some information about the history of the building. Worth a vist if you haven't ever seen it!

I was new to the area and wanted to find a Catholic Church to join. I was drawn to this beautiful Gothic style Church whose spires I could see from my house. I attended a 5:30 PM Mass. The beautiful interior and the familiar feeling of a "Presence" was there. The Crucifix above the altar, got my attention. I decided St. Andrews possessed all the important "accoutrements" that I had found important over the years to fulfill my expectations of the Catholic Mass. The clincher, with no doubt, was the heavenly sound of the organ! Period. I hadn't heard organ music of that degree of perfection since I was a kid! I'm pretty sure it sounds like the music they play in heaven! Kelly pulls out all the stops!!!

Like it's parishioners, this church is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. We were instantly welcomed and made to feel that we belong. It is obvious that parishioners really appreciate this glorious church when describing the history and renovations behind it. Honored to be in time to attend a weekday noon mass which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Ephesians 4:4-6There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.

A beautiful church set on the hill in Roanoke VA. Let us lift up our voices unto the hills, from whence cometh our help. Our help cometh from the Lord!

Beautiful church! Gorgeous inside and out! We were just passing by. I would have gotten better pictures of the inside but they were having a sermon. Must check it out if ever in the area!

The facade of the church is so beautiful, and there's a great view from the top as you go down towards the parking lot, unfortunately all the doors were close and we weren't able to see the inside.

Catholic church with currently limited number of mass participants, however there is an additional social room available next to the church, that is well rearranged and prepared to sit there and participate in the holy mass on the big screens.
