Don’t do it. Had a tow hitch installation and trailer pick up scheduled. Scheduling discrepancy on the shop’s end (and the attitude to fix their own screw up) was the least of our problems. The hitch was installed improperly and partially detached from the frame of my car within a short distance. The wiring was laid on my exhaust, causing it to be fried, and there was no heat protection on the wiring the whole way up to the battery. All I gotta say is they’re lucky my car didn’t get messed up in the process. Thankfully, U-Haul on Sinclair road in Columbus OH was more than helpful and went out of their way to fix the problem as soon as we unexpectedly showed up at their shop.

Easy paper work and even easier online rental.Extended my time at no extra charge and even reimbursed my card for the milage we were under on thr estimation.Turning truck back in was a breeze.Spent less than 10 minutes on-site for rental and turn in combined.

The employees were all friendly and helpful, and they didn't try to sell me anything extra that I didn't need. The only thing that I would suggest to improve was that they need a bigger store and parking lot for customers and for their trucks & trailers.

The men at this location were excellent!! We had James and Claude assisting us, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were on our way safely with our 5x8 trailer and were just the kindest men. The lights on our trailer were not working. After some testing, Claude realized it was not their trailer but something with our car. Instead of turning us away and saying sorry it's your car not our trailer, Claude went under our car to make sure everything was plugged in correctly. He found the issue, which thankfully was a simple fix and fixed the issue for us.
The whole process from walking through the front door to driving away with our trailer took about 30 minutes which in my opinion with everything that was going is impressive!
A message to Claude - Thank you so much for everything you did for us!! We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity in making sure we left with our trailer.
If I ever find myself in Roanoke, needing a uhaul, I am coming here.

I reserved two furniture dolly’s with my truck rental. When I checked in there were no dollies available! The person at the counter couldn’t help and had nothing to say other than they didn’t know why they didn’t have furniture dolly’s. The cash register had a sign that said “Did you know that UHaul guarantees that equipment is available when and where you reserve it”. What a joke. I had to spend $50 buying a couple from Lowe’s. I needed them to move a lot of furniture. Would not recommend!

I called and asked if the truck was returned after hours if it would count as an extra day. The guy told me no and then charged me. Do not rent from these cheats

I used to pay $18 for three packs of peanuts a month ago and now the price is $26. Wow! I understand inflation but goodness gracious that's a huge spike in price. Friendly service and quick most of the time. The only thing I wish is that they would handle the parking lot a little better. You've got random vehicles parked in various places, making it difficult to either pull in or park or pull out or all of the above.

Employee was very nice and professional. Pulled the vehicle to the front of the store for me. Returning the vehicle was very easy and straightforward. He still had a great attitude even though it was late and he was outside working in the rain. I only give a 4/5 because the lot is small.
