So I was in very bad situation I speed up to get to the store so I can get someone to help me. I got there at 7:45pm and they were closing at 8. So I go inside I stood by the door for a few minutes till someone came and greet me As soon as I told him, I need help to get my phone switched it He was not happy you could tell from his face. He basically want to sell products make commission he would’ve stayed till 9, I needed help to get my phone switched He was not happy you could tell from his face. He basically want to sell product, but not if you have a problem.and it looked like it was the manager or Someone pretty heavy guy with beer. He told me soon as I walked in basically they close at 8 o’clock they don’t get paid for overtime and I needed a phone hooked up He didn’t care about somebody situation. He took my phone and trying to do something with it He didn’t feel like to do it He handed it back to me And said the systems are down He cannot help me with that I got my phone connected on Wi-Fi sit in the car for about 30 minutes. I got everything fixed myself got everything transferred finished the whole thing in 30 minutes and he told me that their system was down he cannot do it I was going to buy few things but I got rushed at the door and there was a black girl in there she acted like she’s friendly, but not there to help they both knew what’s up like they had a connection

My mother walked in to adjust her account, in the middle of talking to the service rep, the manager walked out from the back, didn't acknowledge my mother but kept asking the service rep questions that my mother was trying to answer. The attitude was very dismissive and elitist. Upon calling customer service, to fix the account as they had instructed, the service center had informed my mother the store needed to have taken a copy of my father's death certificate and file it with the company, something the store didn't inform us nor seemed to know.
My parents had been customers for 17 years, but since my father passed they have been terrible to deal with. Save your money and seek cell service elsewhere, overall a terrible experience and shameful way to conduct business and the worst customer service.

This Verizon location has been incessantly making marketing calls and sending marketing text messages to me after I have told them to stop calling and texting me with anything marketing related – do not call me about promotions or trying to get me to upgrade my phone. I have told the manager, Monica, this directly but she continues to call me trying to sell me a new phone. Her staff told me she voice records herself for these marketing calls and send out the same automated message to all their customers so I've had to waste 5 hours cumulatively trying to get them to stop calling me sitting on hold with customer service multiple times. I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and on Verizon's own internal Do Not Call list. I included a screenshot as proof of being on Verizon's Do Not Call List from the text Verizon sent me where they confirmed I was added to their list. The FTC says the fine for violating do not call lists is up to $53,000 and I will make a report of the violations including copies of all the marketing texts and voicemails from Monica to the FTC because I have given them multiple chances to stop. I consider it harassment at this point. No means no!
The staff also needs to realize that some people work nights and have to sleep during the day and do not want to be woken up by their phone calls and text messages after being asked not to be contacted over and over. Not everyone can just put their phone on silent when they have sick family members who need to be able to reach them at all hours and blocking Verizon numbers doesn't help because then they just call or text from a different number and it still wakes me up. This is both inconsiderate and rude when someone has asked you to STOP.
Update:
I have just received another telemarketing call from Monica & will be reporting her and Verizon to the FCC again. Every time I block one of her numbers, she calls from a different number. It's harassment at this point. STOP! I don't know what it's gonna take to get her to stop. Monica does not respect her customers wishes. This makes me want to switch carriers. Clearly Verizon is desperate if they're hounding people like this because their customers are leaving in droves. I have now filed an additional complaint with the Virginia State Corporation Commission and encourage everyone else dealing with this problem do the same.

They cold-called me saying they see my company vehicle drive by their location a lot. I thought maybe they wanted help from my business. He wasted my time trying to sell me cell phones. As a busy business owner, I have zero tolerance for wasting my time or calling under false pretenses.

I usually have great customer service at this location, not today. I went in to return my mom’s phone for her. The rep that helped me was great. Unfortunately, there was a snag with the trade. Not to get into it too much, the manager, Koran, got involved. Needless to say I wasn’t happy with what was going on. I was told by the manager that I would have to contact customer service to get the problem taken care of. I wasn’t happy about that because I didn’t feel it should be my responsibility to have to do that because of something the rep who did the trade didn’t mention to us. The manager then accused me of being combative towards him, when all I was doing was voicing my dissatisfaction with his customer service. I’ve never been treated or accused of anything like that before. I am just a dissatisfied customer who didn’t like the service I was given by the manager. He was very arrogant and seemed like he could care less about the situation. That’s not the one of customer service I’ve ever experienced from Verizon Wireless, mush less being accused of something like that. When I asked him who was his boss he said no one is. If that’s the type of manager you have in your stores it’s no wonder Verizon is losing customers.

If you are looking for assistance with anything I would strongly recommend visiting any Verizon location that is not this one. The assistant manager Eric is incredibly callous and rude. He has absolutely zero customer service skills. I went in after spending countless hours dealing with Verizon’s phone customer service, was lied to, my bill was charged several times for things without my knowledge and a line was added that I was not made aware of. Eric was not only completely unwilling to help me resolve the issue, but then tried to charge me more money. I was sent to the store as part of the process to resolving all these mistakes, not to be charged more money. I sat at the store for hours just to leave with nothing resolved and having wasted more of my time. I went to another Verizon store today and received excellent service and had all of my issues resolved within less than half an hour, so that just confirms that Eric couldn’t be bothered. This location doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Great customer service. Was pretty busy when I arrived, but there's lots of stuff to look at and play with while waiting.
The associates were very personable, and seemed to show a genuine interest in making sure that each customer received the time, and service they required.
When my turn came, I have to say the associate that assisted me was awesome.
They helped with picking a phone, updating my plan, and setting everything up.
Great experience. Thank you so much.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH VERIZON!!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH VERIZON!!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH VERIZON!!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH VERIZON!!! I bought a hotspot and cell phone. I returned the hotspot in its box unopened within three days because the cell phone reception was too poor for it to work at my house. Verizon billed me for the service anyway and continued to harass me via email and phone call about paying for a service I never used. Because of the harassment, and within a month of the original purchase I returned the cell phone to Oralando at the Valley View store. I paid an initiation fee, I paid a month's service and I paid a restocking fee for the cell phone. Now Verizon is threatening to sue me if I don't pay two initiation fees, one for the cell phone which I already paid and one for the hotspot I was unable to use. YOU REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SHOULDN'T EVEN TRY TO DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON.

I ordered a screen protector and it came damaged and I took it to Verizon and they happily refunded my money. No questions asked. Very helpful and the young man was very nice and respectful.

A big "Shout Out" for Holden at Verizon Store, 4014 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va.
He stayed with us through the complete process of switching to a newer cellphone and we also got an IPad that was part of a promotion.
Holden was very knowlegable and that was appreciated by us, as senior citizens. He is an asset to your company.
Thank You, Holden

The people were nice enough but to wait an hour WITH an appointment is crazy. Clearly you need more staff. Come on Verizon. You charge crazy $$$ for phone and service. Pay your people and get more of them.

2 Weeks ago we switched to TMobile due to poor cell service and poor customer service from Verizon. We went to the satellite store in Vinton and was sent to the main store at Valley View to simply get a copy of a final bill. I was refused service at both locations. (I was a joint account holder) They refused to provide me a copy and sent me away empty handed stating they would get fired if they gave it to me. The Verizon app was automatically shut off on our phones when we switched to T Mobile so we did not have access to our online account info either. We also have not received a paper bill at our home address. Verizon thought it would be a great idea to go ahead and drain our bank account with no notice for the full balances of the phones etc. without providing proper documentation or actually sending a final bill and after being informed that TMobile would be the responsible party during the switch. I have filed a BBB complaint and I recommend doing business elsewhere for anyone considering Verizon.
