“Came in after our brakes felt weird coming down the mountain. The lady flat out told me this is a daily occurrence and everything was probably fine and insisted that they take a look at the car. I was well prepared to pay the diagnostic fee.
Mechanic went out 10 minutes later looked at the temperatures and checked the pads and said he didn't see anything wrong and this happens all the time. He assured me and eased my worry. No attempt to upsell me anything just good honest information.
Went to pay the fee and they said no charge. Wasn't sure how to take that haven't had that type of service in a long time. If they weren't 2 hours from my house this would be my new mechanic. They still might be. Might be worth the two hour trip for honest service”
