Colonial Hardwoods is a woodworking-focused business known for its friendly and helpful staff. It offers a wide selection of wood, including non-traditional and raw edge slabs, as well as bits, hardware, and glue. The shop is a woodworking paradise with specialized services like affordable milling, which saves time, and free cutting to size for large sheets. Customers appreciate the convenience and excellent service, even if prices may be higher. The store also carries tools such as Saw Stop, routers, shapers, and other cutting heads. Overall, it is a great source for woodworking projects and materials beyond typical big box stores.
Colonial hardwoods produced some custom shelf boards to strict specifications for a home library project, and they delivered with quality work. In making our decision on what wood to use, they were generous in giving us various wood samples to test stain colors at home. We highly recommend their services.
